I bought these for my husband who is a contractor. Sizing is true (bought a 32) and the shorts fit great and were comfortable. The thickness of the material isn’t too thick or too thin, which will be good for work and heat (we live in the south). We’ll see how they hold up with the zipper and snags.Washed once and didn’t dry on high heat so no shrinking. For a cheap pair, they’re off to a good start!I try to find cheap clothes for him because of his work, don’t want to spend $50 on shorts if he’s just going to get bleach or plumbers grease on them.

True to size and well made. Fabric has just the right amount of stretch to make them comfortable but not look “stretchy”.one complaint. The pockets are too high. The top of the pocket opening is too close to the waistband and is straight across which makes it harder to access.

Good fit. Better fabric quality than the last pair. They don't have a side pocket for your phone. The seam construction is good. The waist band is comfortable. Price creep. Amazon label clothing is quickly approaching the no bargain zone. Just another brand name sort through.

Very comfortable and fit perfectly for a slim figure like myself. Very nice for those of us that don’t want knee length shorts. I am 5’9” tall and these come about 3 to 4 inches above my knee. They are very comfortable and look nice on.

I purchased the Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit 7" Inseam Stretch 5-Pocket Short in black, size 31. Overall, they are decent, but not without some issues.Firstly, the fit was good and true to size. The shorts were comfortable and had a nice slim fit without being too tight.The stitching and fabric quality were actually quite good. The material felt durable and had a nice stretch to it, which made the shorts comfortable to wear. The seams were well-finished, and I didn't notice any loose threads or poorly done stitching.However, the major letdown was the color. The black looked very faded right out of the package, giving the shorts an old and worn-out appearance. After just one wash, they became even more faded, which was extremely disappointing.Overall, while the fit, stitching, and fabric quality were good, the disappointing color quality detracted from the overall value. I give these shorts 3 stars.
