I wasn’t prepared for how tiny these lamps are. The wick is 1/4, also tiny. The construct is really not very sturdy. Be very careful using these little fellas. They put out enough light if you have two of them right next to you. The appearance is nice if you don’t look too close. For the price I guess I am satisfied. I break a lot of glass globes so I may have problems replacing them and the wick also.

Be sure to read the description carefully. The dimensions are for the entire item, it is very tiny. If you looking to buy one like your grandparents had, THIS IS NOT IT! This is like a toy. To give you a ideal of the size, I took a picture of it next to a ordinary size table spoon. It is so over priced it should be considered a crime. In fact I'm going to report it to Amazon Fraud.

Nice kerosene lamp, not too large. It gives good light.
