I love the way the seller packaged this necklace. It came with a small starfish and a note about their company. It just made me feel as though my order meant a lot to them.Now for the necklace itself. I bought this to replace a chain I had been wearing medals on. The chain had been pulling my hair out and the medals were constantly shifting and rotating on the chain. This necklace is perfect! It's light but sturdy. Most of the time, I forget it's even there. The medals stay in place and the clasp doesn't shift. When this wears out, I will definitely be buying the same again!

I've been searching for a leather cord necklace for a while to go with a vintage pendant that I own. While I was browsing for something else, I spotted this necklace. It was exactly what I've been looking for. A black 2mm braided leather cord necklace that was a little heavier to accommodate the weight of my pendant and also look nice. Voila, I found it in this necklace. This cord would look nice with either a dressy piece of jewelry, casual (mine is a vintage sterling silver with a patina coating turquoise) pendant, or you can wear it alone. It has an easy to use 'push button' clasp for opening and closing. It also makes a beautiful gift for someone special.

I ordered this necklace nearly two years ago. I hardly ever take it off. It looks as nice as it did when I first got it. I appreciate the craftsmanship. It is comfortable enough to sleep with it on. The clasp is strong and has been durable. It has been a wonderful companion about my neck and I wouldn't trade it.

Made well with good lock but because it’s leather silk it stays on the stiff side. Which I which would soften up some but it is waterproof and will last it also keeps it’s rounded shape.

Great product for the money! The necklace looks good. It seems waterproof. Had it for a few months now, and seems to be holding up very well. The clasp seems strong. I would recommend.

It's definitely sturdy. I'm using this rope to hold the pendant that contains my mother's ashes. I am confident it won't fall apart and I have such sensitive skin so the leather chain and stainless steel clasp is perfect. I had a little trouble opening it at first but there are directions on the back of the card. I love the little starfish it comes with, that was a really nice touch and a pleasant surprise.

i waited a couple months to write this review so I could see how well the necklace cord held up after weeks of constant wear. I bought mine to hold a little pendant someone gifted me; it might be the Buddha on there, but it could just as easily be some guy who delivers mail in Sri Lanka. Either way, it's a cool little pendant and I wanted to put it on something that would hold it securely.This cord works perfectly for that. When it first arrived, it seemed a little stiff and "plastic-y," but even then it *looked* like high quality leather. After a few days it lost most of that stiffness and began feeling more like a genuine leather cord. The only real noticeable difference? This on -- unlike leather -- is waterproof and most everything else-proof as well. After two months, I can't see any signs of wear. And I even sleep/shower/swim with the thing on.I'm guessing that *eventually* it'll wear out and I'll have to replace it. But based on the wear so far, that could be a year or two, or maybe more, away. Finally, the packaging is great and the little starfish mentioned by others is a nice touch. Also, the clasp is pure genius! Very sturdy and secure, but at the same time small and unobtrusive. It really is a nice bit of engineering.Overall, this is a great product for the money.

Very expensive and falsely advertized.Definitely NOT waterproof. The leather is falling apart.Only had this for a month.Do not recommend!!!!

The manufacturer should take care the original finishing stands long way to go without fading

Smooth clasp design that doesn't catch on anything, the material is a little stiffer than real leather but it suits me fine.

Shipped in a timely fashion and protected in a box. The product suites me and at some stage I will be getting another one, so thank you.
