Q: Are these similar to the sponges that you get with most of the Clinique brand powders? That tanish colored round sponge?

Good question. I don't use Clinique powder so I don't want to give you any wrong information. However, I do use Estee Lauder's powder and these are very similar to the ones (creamy beige color) that come in the Estee Lauder powder compacts. I've tried various discount drug store brands' sponges and was never happy with the poor quality. These KOOBA sponges here at Amazon are the only ones I buy. I hope that can help you.
