Pure, organic, and headache-free, finally a henna I can trust!
I absolutely love this organic henna powder! It’s pure, rich in color, and completely free from additives or chemicals. In the past, I’ve tried other non-organic hennas, and they gave me terrible migraines that lasted for days but this one caused no issues whatsoever! I even felt comfortable using it while pregnant, and it left my hair with a beautiful deep brown tone and soft mahogany undertones. The shine, texture, and smoothness it gave my hair are incredible; it feels nourished, healthy, and strong. What I appreciate most is that this henna didn’t cause any headaches, rashes, nausea, or irritation. It’s such a relief to find a trustworthy, high-quality brand that truly delivers on purity and performance. I’ll definitely be repurchasing and exploring their other products, especially indigo. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a natural, safe, and beautiful alternative to chemical hair dyes! 🌿✨

Gives good hair color, cheap for the size!
Great henna. Been dying my hair with henna since my 20s for fun and to control dandruff, and now I’m dying to cover greys in my 40s. I wasn’t sure about this henna as I feel like all brands are a hit and miss. I’ve gotten fake powders or old powders in the past from supposedly good brands from my Indian grocery stores that don’t develop color. Glad to report this one works and dyed my greys and my skin also LOL. Good price for the size and I like that it’s organic. I have no idea if the henna plant utilizes pesticides but the price is cheap as the Indian store boxes are usually smaller. I have thick hair and a lot of it so I probably use more powder than most people. Mix with part water or tea and an acid like lemon juice, vinegar or wine. Don’t listen to people who say just use water, henna needs an acid to develop.

Fresh green and gives really nice color
The powered leaves still have a nice green color and perfect signature henna smell. This is how I know this product is high quality, fresh and prepared well. I use it for both color and overall health of my hair. Hint: brew strong coffee and cool it then use it to mix the henna paste. This results in a darker brownish color than the usual reddish orange of henna mixed in water. I mix my paste in room temperature coffee, cover it with plastic wrap or lid and let it ferment for 4-5 hours. I wash my hair with shampoo but no conditioner or any other product. This will improve the color absorption dramatically. Dry my hair completely then apply the henna and cover my hair with a cap. Leave it overnight or a long enough time ( the hair and scalp will feel hot at some point as the henna interact with the hair. When it cools down then the reaction is done and can be rinsed). I rinse my hair with only water till it runs clean then add conditioner and continue the usual hair routine. I like to use it every 2-4 weeks to keep my greys covered

I love henna.
I’ve been using henna for a while now. I don’t think I’ll use regular dyes again. I love that it’s organic, and actually is also a mask that benefits my hair. It is a long process but hair days are long anyway. It can get messy but preparing with gloves, plastic bags/shower caps and gowns helps. Price isn’t bad, and the bag lasts a long time.

Amazing henna!
I love this henna powder. I wanted to find a more economical henna than the packets that I have been using for the past few years. I've had this bag for over 3 months and it's the third time that I've applied it to my hair and it works amazing to hide my grays. I have naturally black/dark brown hair and this will add reddish brown while adding thickness. For application, I add just enough boiling water to create a thicker than pancake batter consistence plus a tablespoon of lemon juice. Set in a warm spot for 3 hours. Add instant coffee for a darker brown. Apply and let sit for 3 hours with a shower cap and towel. Rinse with hot water, apply conditioner, rinse, blow dry. The color will continue to develop over the new few days.

Excellent Quality!!
I have used Henna a lot and this is the best one I have used yet!! Usually my white hair turns ORANGE but this time it was a deep copper color. I was tempted to leave it but wanted to try the Indigo over it to make it brown. The Henna made up well and was a great consistency after letting it set for 24 hours. Then I stirred all the lumps out with ease. Very good!!

100% organic henna (no additives or chemicals)
I use henna to cover my grays and to strengthen my hair. I was a little sad when Starwest botanicals stopped selling my trusted henna and I had to find a new brand. Enter Vitamatic. This henna is certainly the real deal and way stronger than what I'm used to. I usually prepare the henna when I get home from work and then apply it before bed and sleep in it. This henna gets SO DARK if left on for 5 or more hours. I still need to play around with the timing of how long I let it sit and how long I leave it in my hair since this is a new brand of henna. I think this makes my hair incredibly and deeply orange, which is not necessarily my favorite but at least it covers my grays! I usually add a little turmeric, amla, and aloe vera to my henna powder but still also have to play around with this blend so that I can get back to the light golden brown color that was my goal. As another reviewer mentioned, this henna gets real clumpy when you're mixing it, but that doesn't affect the final outcome. The lumps mostly work themselves out when you leave the henna to settle.
