Great puzzles, 100 each of light, moderate, demanding, and very challenging sudoku puzzles. Paper is thick and high quality, does not disintegrate when erasing. I took another reviewer's suggestion and cut off the binding around the spiral so now the book can lay flat and is much much easier to work in. Highly recommend getting this book and doing the same.

I got this book as a present for my wife who just loves Sudoku. Well, she really likes this book, particularly the paper the puzzles are on. She's used to the "el cheapo" books that use paper similar to that used for newsprint. She said, since she does erase every now & then, that the Little Black Book's pages withstand erasures much better than the "el cheapos." She likes the spiral binding as well and hasn't complained about any problems with it. After reading some reviews from other folks who had complaints about the binding, I almost didn't get this book. I'm glad I did....I now have a happy wife, at least until the end of this book.

Ha! still working on this book, but let me say this. I thought I had it all together but when I do there is always something that stop me in my pencil stroke, lol which is when I have to reach for my big eraser. All in all I love the challenge, and there are many. With this said I have five books in my cart waiting. Will, my hat off to you and thanks. My time with the little black book is well spent, about all day. I never get any work done around the house. So folks if you like Sudoku, as much as I do, then the little black book is for you.

This is our third copy of this book!The paper is sturdy and it’s easy to write on and the cover provides a platform for easy holding and writing.

When I chose a Sudoku book I look not only at the quality of puzzles, which actually vary little from book to book, but also at portability. This one has a nice selection of puzzles and is well designed but for one significant problem.I want a book that I can take anywhere and use easily, which means it needs to be a reasonable size and it must lay flat, so that it can be held open in one hand with only the page you are working on visible.Being spiral bound, as this one is, usually takes care of the use ability issue. The publishers started out with an excellent book and then screwed it up by adding a cover that won't allow you to open it so that you are presented with only one page.Compared to most typically bound puzzle books this one is excellent The puzzles and labels are good and the pages are well designed. However, if you prefer the convenience of a spiral bound book you may be disappointed. Unless you just remove the cover, as I did.

I am addicted to Sudoku puzzles. There is wide variety in the quality of puzzle books. This one is my favorite.It has quality paper that is easy to erase pencil notations from, the grading of the puzzles is accurate, and the hard cover and large spiral binding makes it easy to use while sitting in a chair. I like puzzles where the whole thing can be done without resorting to "working backwards". It is too big to carry in my purse, but fits fine in my suitcase for travel and I keep it by my favorite chair. I have also bought two as gifts for fellow addicts.

We bought this as a Mother's Day gift for my husband's grandmother, who loves Sudoku. She absolutely loved it. In fact, she just raved and raved about it it for quite some time. We don't do the puzzles ourselves. I took quite some time comparing the different puzzle books though, and narrowed it down to three, all by Will Shortz. They seemed to be the most popular. My husband liked this one the best because of the spiral binding and the number of puzzles. As I said, it was a hit. In my opinion, it is good a good gift for a Sudoku lover.

This is the most handy of any of the Sudoku books I have purchased. Great for travel and the car rides.

Queda totalmente torcido. Es incomodísimo para escribir. Hay mil formas de encuadernar, y han elegido la peor! Jamas vi algo tan mal diseñado. Por favor, aprendan a encuadernar.

This lil book is super cute - but still challenging! There are puzzles from Easy - Very Demanding... and so far I have not been able to finish either one of the hardest ones. I have tried three, gotten so far, then messed up! It is aggravating, but nice to have some puzzles that are challenging, but yet that you know you will eventually be able to beat!
