I have 11 week old Springer that we can't get to stop biting ankles and dragging on pant legs. Will this work if we spray it on ankles?

Thank all you people for your great answers! But here's the thing, we've tried water bottles , noisy things and all manner of trying to get him to stop biting. Puppy training is of course on the agenda and soon I might add! We are constantly telling him no bite and sit ( vet recommended this). But often to no avail. We keep trying and I wasn't intending to spray him in the face just if the smell is bad on the legs to stop him from dragging on hubby's ankles. Maybe you all out there can recommend a product that could be helpful here? Stains unimportant just want dog to stop biting. He is otherwise quite trained already knows fetch, drop it, sit, shake , kennel trained and housetrained. Just the biting gets really out of hand. He's a Springer if that helps?

Can it go in a checked bag on an airline

I don't see why not, I have traveled with pepper spray in a checked bag before, in an international flight, and it was fine. This is just citronella.

Will this break up a fight already in progress? I have 2 females that fight and need something to assist me getting them apart if they get together.

I agree with previous answers to use loud noises to break them up and find out why they are fighting. Is it a territorial thing or a dominantion struggle. Did you get them at the same time? Are they from the same litter? Is one older than the other? I go a younger dog to keep my older dog active. The younger dog, of course tried to take dominant position of the two. I, being the Alpha, had to set him straight and preserve the older dogs place in the pack. It solved EVERYTHING ! Everyone's much happier now. If you use treats give them to the older dog first. When they eat, feed the older dog first. When take them for a walk, leash the older dog first. They will understand. If you see a fight coming, discipline the younger dog first. As in any pack, you, the alpha, should help them understand their place in the pack.

Why is my bottle not spraying even though it’s full? It seems like I only get one use out of the entire bottle!

I can confirm that, and it doesn't have any effect on the dogs when you get a full container. Only pepper spray will work.
