Not an exact fit in my ARRMA TYPHON 6s but it works!
The media could not be loaded. TLDR; No regrets for less than $30 shipped Tough lil servo will probably last for ages on 6-7.4v.Just watch your mounting clearances & make sure the bottom section doesn't get crushed.Over-all mounted height was the same, but mounting tab height wasn't quite clear in the description. This one is about 5mm taller from the mounting tabs to the bottom.(ITEM DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN UPDATED 👍🏾)It's a little taller than my old servo, so small (metal) spacers are needed between the servo mount & chassis of the Arrma Typhon 6s that it was purchased it for.My old brass inserts were used inside the rubber insulaters that came with this servo because the ones provided were too small for my vehicles mounting hardware. But for the price I'm not disappointed.Shipping was quick. Ordered before noon & it was at my door in about 24 hrs via USPS using Amazon Prime.I'll update later after a few runs.UPDATE: Still doing great after a few on-road runs @ the 6 volts the BLX185 BEC circuit puts out. Upgrading to an external BEC for more torque & speed outta this.Even if I upgrade later to a quicker servo, I'll still keep this as a backup.UPDATE #2: The servo eventually failed because of the way I mounted it.My spacers between the chassis & the servo mount were not solid & that pressed the bottom of the servo into the chassis defeating it's waterproof seal for the circuit board. That being said, I will probably buy again. I have since upgraded to an aluminum servo mount & will use metal washers to adjust the height if necessary.Another update:I tore it apart and cleaned it up... It works. Now to see what it does on 7.4v.Yet another update:Now using in my Kraton 4sV2 that's a bit heavy with a larger motor, chassis brace & big tires. Also running it with an external BEC @ 7.5v it's working flawlessly.Originally was used without a servo saver in an Outcast 4SV2 & experienced no issues at all. Installed a servo saver in the Kraton 4SV2 & the servo saver couldn't keep up. Had to modify the servo saver with a heavier spring.Final update:Decided to run it on 8.4v with my Kraton 4sV2 that a bit in the heavy side...That was the final blow. I think it's dead now. But I've had this servo for a few years & tortured the hell out of it.I may still tear it down & check it out. But when it's disconnected, it turns easy one way & with resistance the other way.

It's perfect!
Had this on for awhile after I cooked my stock Traxxas steering servo (shocking ik) I was a bit hesitant but after abusing this thing as much as I could it's still kicking strong! If your running a trx4 I highly recommend upgrading your axle mounts to brass at the same time I thought I killed this servo but turns out I snapped a mount!

It works.
It seems a bit weak for what task I put it up to. Which was replacing the old non hobby grade servo in my RadioShack Tremor, with a hobby grade one. Which worked. Sadly I had to trim the tabs off :'( BUT IT WORKED, thanks to these guys for making a affordable servo for any build. This isn't bad if you're upgrading a toy. But I wouldn't recommend this for like any high end drift RC or anything like that. I don't know about any of the higher KG ones but the 20kg seems a little jittery. Otherwise performed okay enough for the build it went in.

Almost a direct replacement for a Traxxas micro servo
Great little servo ... but it is "almost" too big for the Traxxas TRX4M crawlers. I say this because I had to file the case down ever so slightly to get it to fit. But now that it is installed my grandson is delighted that his favorite RC car is back in service. The question now: Will it last longer than the original Traxxas servo ... which only lasted 30 days or so of more or less continuous duty at the hands of a 7- year old boy.

Iffy, cheap servo
This servo, based on my limited experience so far, is not great. The included clamp-on horn does not center when installed so I need to do a lot of pre-trim and EPA adjustments for it to work on my install. This is likely because it's 25 teeth and I need to poke out with the horn facing away from the body, not inline with the body. The servo struggles to reach its endpoints, creeps very slowly for the last few degreesThe servo does not re-center reliably. For the money, it'll do, and it seems to have decent torque at 7.4 volts. It's also not the slowest servo I've ever used! But, it's blue aluminum and matches some of the other bling on my build so it's OK :) Plus it's better than spending $100 on a real servo.UPDATE: After some use, it burned out and died. Disappointing all around. Spend the extra $$ and get something better, IMO
