My 20mo old son has been slowly ruining our tv remote for a tv that was purchased in 2020. He would find the remote and obsessively press the buttons way to hard. So naturally the volume and other buttons would barely work. After researching the HISENSE website I saw a replacement would be $35! I said NO WAY and found my product number on the back of my original remote. I came across this product and gave it try: it’s success!!! It’s literally a carbon copy of our original remote, just without the HISENSE name at the bottom. ALSO; for anyone saying that the GOOGLE SPEAK button doesn’t work, that’s probably because you need to pair the device to your tv (go to settings; remotes and accessories; add accessory, and then hold down the menu button (looks like 3 parallel lines) on the remote until it says it’s connecting). Mine paired just fine and overall we are glad- it’s worth the $17 to have a working remote again!

I purchased my Hisense H9G smart tv 2 years ago, but the original controller that came with it started having a lot of button delays even with fresh batteries. I’m guessing it’s from wear and tear due to a lot of use? Anyways, this remote works perfectly and instantly paired with my tv out of the package. You don’t have to use any magic tricks or any type of configurations . Just insert your AAA batteries and you’re back in business :)
