The first bag only had 0.1 grams of gold. The second bag had 0.2 which is acceptable ROI. I contacted the company and the offered either a refund or replacement for the first bag. Excellent customer service. I just received my replacement and he actually put two in there. I’m impressed and I don’t say that lightly. Remember you are never going to make back what you bought it for but he is 100% better than goldn pay dirt. They are the worst ever!

It’s always fun panning paydirt but there is very little gold in this bag. Leads to a dissatisfying finish. Better off try another brand.

The first 2 lb bag didn't have but a few small pieces of gold. The second bag was better. Just glad to see some gold. Wish I knew how much gold I should be looking for. Panning for the gold is very relaxing for me. Thank you.

Took me a while but I finally got around to panning this out. Found plenty of gold. And since I bought it so long ago and the price of gold has gone up I’m pretty sure I made money.

Two bags very little gold .02 total. I will say it is unsearched. The bag I got today had a quarter of a grasshopper in it(if you're scamming nice touch lol). Both bags were very dirty which makes me believe it is unsearched. Which is the reason for the three stars, because of honesty..

Very little gold, there IS gold, most of it is microscopic. I ran it through coffee filters multiple times to get all of it and miss nothing. All in all I got 4 SMALL flakes (had a hard time picking them up with a teasers and magnifying glass) and this small vial (vial is smaller than my pinky) sand was very rough and there was chunks of leaves in every scoop as well as… carpet? I’d rate the difficulty as a 8.5/10 REALLY glad I wasn’t doing this with the kids probably had .01-.02g

My 11-year-old granddaughter wanted to learn gold panning. I explained it was long & tedious with little reward. She did not believe me. so I bought a $29 bag, i didn't expect much only to teach the technique. The advertisement said it's guaranteed to have gold. LOL. Well, She lasted 45 minutes, just as she started to see black dirt, and only a small gold flake. It was very disappointing on how long it took her to see some small flakes and she gave up LOL. So i sluice the rest which Showed faster reward, but not for an 11 year old. To summarize my experience. I paid $29, to teach an 11 year old & refresh my own technique was fun. Not the mother load, but still fun and i can not complain there was gold. See pics
