Halo Holistic Indoor Cat Food Dry, Grain Free Wild-caught Salmon & Whitefish ...

I love this food. I'm never using another brand again. My cat's coat is so soft and shiny since we started using Halo Holistic Indoor Cat Food. I used to use Blue Buffalo, and I find that this food is much better. I've noticed a significant difference in his coat health. It’s clear that he really likes this food, and it actually smells like fish, unlike other brands where the main ingredient might be fish but the scent isn't there. This gives me peace of mind, knowing it’s truly what it claims to be. I also appreciate that it's sustainably sourced and doesn't contain any fish meal or by-products of any kind. I switched him from the regular whitefish kind to this weight management formula, and I've noticed that he is losing weight with this one. While he might not like it as much as the one with grain, he still enjoys it and is shedding those extra pounds he needed to lose. Overall, Halo Holistic Indoor Cat Food has exceeded my expectations. My cat is healthier and happier, and that’s all I can ask for. Highly recommend!

I can only find Halo on Amazon now. I hope they never drop this product. My cats are not food motivated. They like their regular kibble and that's it. Even though one is thin and one is chunky, they both love the food and their weight stays the same.

Because of health issues, I changed my 4 cats to this dry kibble...it is great! The nutrition is perfect and the flavor must be good because they clean up the bowls. They liked it from day one so there was zero resistance to the change. We have had no stomach issues since changing. One of my cats is diabetic, and after changing, I have been able to discontinue her meds. I buy this and one other flavor and have them on subscription for the best price. I am paying more for this food, but the weekly visits to the vet have stopped, so am saving money in the long term. My cats love it and so do I! Pleasant odor.

I’m basically just writing this review to reiterate the points other people made in other recent reviews. This cat food used to be amazing, my cat loved it, but the most recent bag I just bought is a complete different bag of food than the bag I bought 2 months ago. I knew they changed the formula fairly when they changed the packaging, but they must of changed the formula again cause my cat absolutely hates this new bag of food. The most recent feeding they puked with 5 minutes of eating the food and the throw up was mostly stomach acid so my cat is starving and still won’t eat it. The food pellets are so different from the last bag. The old pellets (on the left) were dark in color but these new pellets (on the right) are a light brown color so it’s clear they changed something within the last month or two. Whatever it is, it’s terrible, they shouldn’t have done it. I am now at a loss because my cat has been eating halo for its entire life so now I’m very scared to try new brands but my cats refuses to eat any of this 10lb bag of food. So Halo, thanks for the change that literally NO ONE ASKED FOR. You have lost a customer. I will be asking for a refund, but based on other reviews I’ve read I will be surprised if I get it.

As a mediocre cat dry food, this is all my cats can eat without throwing up or having an upset stomach. I wanted to try more alternatives but for a budget product, nothing beats it. I've heard there are better brands but as long as my cats eat it, I'm happy with the cat food.

Cats are notoriously picky about food and our cats are no exception, but they absolutely love the Halo foods, both canned and dry. I noticed a marked difference in the health of their coats when we switched to this food and they also have maintained a healthy weight. For feeding our two cats, this food is our first choice.

My cat loves this food, and eat less than previous food. Lost some weight after I switched to this food within few months. Also, active level is up compare with when feeding other foods. Will keep buying this. - PRO: My cat loves this. it makes satisfied stomach quite long time, thus eating less. Lost some weight in few months. Active level up. Good for hair ball control. Fur and skin is nice. Good digestion. Poop is good condition. - CON: Little expensive, but it's worth it. Actually kcal is higher than other brand weight control foods. However, because this food included fat burning amino acid, and filling up stomach long time, it's less food=less kcal to consume.
