This spice is new to me.After doing some research and learning about the many potential health benefits, I'm so glad I decided to order.I blend it into smoothies, fruit slushes and yogurt.I also make a tea concoction with water less than 115 degrees and and a little honey.It's delicious and healthy.

This is a repeat order. Why? This company sells high quality spices. Tasty! The same can be said of other spices I'd purchased from them, too. Do give them a try; you won't be disappointed!

I bought this product because I wanted to have a lesser need for dependency on sodium. It was nice to find out that this has zero sodium in itObviously one's taste buds become addicted to whatever profile you feed them and in this case mine had a high salinity profile. When I tasted the sumac for the first time those two did not meet. That's not a bad thing that's just a thing.Recently in the last 4 months I have converted to whole food plant-based (wfpb) for health reasons. Keeping blood pressure at a lower marker has a lot to do with salinity and stress.It takes a little bit for your taste buds to adapt into any change so there's that and if you're coming from a fast food crunchy fries type of world it's going to be a pretty stark change. That's part of the process and you may have to add a little more sumac and I don't necessarily know if that is hurtful in other areas of a body to add more sumac or not so do your due diligence.It seems that sumac has a little more moisture content or pliability then the crystalline perspective of salt so be of note.The packaging was really nice and the product was super fresh. We migrated some of the contents of the package into a shaker and then resealed the one-sided content view panel, mylar bag.We would buy from this company again.Hope this helps and blessings to all.

We found this Spice Way brand after another brand started adding salt. If the label says "salt," you can be certain it is not sea salt, but table salt.This brand is labeled Non GMO. We prefer organic, and will continue looking. We are not knocking off points because we made the purchase knowing it was not certified organic.We use sumac liberally, in many of our meals. We have a bottle in the kitchen and at the table. Nice flavor.
