I use this to measure grams of ingredients for diy body care products. I like it because it measures such small amounts as I sometimes need to know to the tenth. It’s held up well and there’s directions on how to calibrate on the inside of the lid. It also comes with a weight to calibrate it with. I’m glad I purchased it.

This scale worked flawless for 1.5 years. It was quite stable and repeatable for measuring things n the 0.20 - 0.30 gram range.Then it was moved, and afterwards was completely unstable. I saw from negative comments this has been a problem for others. Calibration or new batteries did not help stabilize readingsI poked around on the surface, and noticed pressing on the plastic frame around the metal weigh pan also made readings jump.Long story short - there are 2 screw inside the battery case that hold the metal weigh pan to the plastic bottom frame. These were very tight as supplied new. I removed the 2 screws, than re-installed them but did not fully tighten - put them in and tightened "just barely snug", not cranked down tight, but also not loose. Doing this de-coupled the weigh mechanism from the plastic bottom frame.Then I re-calibrated the unit with supplied 50g weight. It was off a gram or two after re-doing the screws. It worked perfectly again after that, was extremely stable, and held readings with no wander. If you have a similar problem, try this procedure. Happy again - repeatable and stable for very low weights.

Needed a replacement because it drifted to the negative by up to 50 mg and would not settle. I received a replacement today and it is dead on. I can put on and off weights and actual supplement caps I know the weight of and no drift. It returns to the exact measurement each time. Light weight and convenient.

This product works as advertised. Easy to get accurate amounts of fine liquids, or powders. Would have preferred if the small substance holder, that rests in the scale to hold the reagents, could have a storage spot inside the unit, instead of being left outside. It can get easily misplaced, or contaminated.

The media could not be loaded. I needed an accurate scale for measuring 0.1 grams of powder.This one works perfectly and the readout updates with every 1/1000 change in mass. The only minor design flaw is that the scale is unreadable from directly above. I'm tall, so I have to squat down and look from an angle.I bought another scale that was half the price of this one and only measured to a precision of 1/100. I returned it after a week because the measurement wouldn't update with each 1/100 change in mass, it would stick at one value and then jump to an overdose value.
