Hammond Manufacturing 1590B DIECAST Box 4.4X2.3X1.1

I ordered this because the picture shown in the ad is copper colored. I thought it would be cool to have a pedal in unfinished copper. But sadly, it's just an aluminum enclosure. I gave 5 stars because I failed to read the description, which says silver in color. Still seems a bit dishonest to picture something else though.

These worked perfect for my project I was working on.. strong, sturdy and well built.

Very cool little project box. I used it to build a stomp pedal for my electric guitar amp, and it works great. I would definitely buy another if I had another similar project.I would recommend using a drill press, if you have access to one, rather than a hand drill to make holes in this thing. It's easy for a hand drill bit to get stuck (because it's not perfectly perpendicular), especially with larger holes, such as the ones needed for 1/4" audio jacks or stomp switches.

After looking at many of them on here . It was the right size and if it was any bigger it would of fit on there ! Very strong box and came with the screw's inside that made it just the right thing too make me smile as she you go too local stores they sell them by themselves! Great job done right the first time!

I needed some aluminum project boxes for some shielded RF projects, and I ordered a couple of these small boxes. The box worked out great, I was easily able to drill it and install my components. The lid fits good. The price is reasonable. I'm pretty happy with them. I'm attaching a picture with some components, to demonstrate the size of the box and what type of things will fit.

Great Hammond products like usual. Have used many of these over the years, both metal and plastic, for effects pedals or other small electrical projects. Well documented dimensions so you can always pre-plan fitting into these enclosures. You get what you pay for and these are worth my pennies.
