Although it is crafted from inexpensive wood, the price isn't as prohibitive as one might expect. It's a little strange but many people have tins, caddies etc. for storing coffee in. Many also have tins or caddies for storing leaf tea but when it comes to teabags they are normally just kept in the cardboard box they come in.If like myself, you tend to have a fair few different brands and differrent blends, flavours etc. then you also know what it is like when asking another which tea he / she wants then looking in a cupboard to inform him / her of the options available. Worse still, visitors always tend to choose the teabags in the box at the bottom and back of the cupboard so one has to remove and replace all the others. It's a bity like travelling, for some reason the Gate one requires is always the one furthest away from the terminal so who flies from the other gates?Well, this nice presentation box is a good solution as one can simply fill it with all the different brands and blends of teabags one has available and simply top the box up from time to time. If one really wants to one better one can simply let guests choose their own treas and make it themselves.The box is well made, with a glass display top however the product has lost one star from my rating simply because the felt bottom has not been glued down properly. The felt on the bottom is loose at two of the corners. However, that is not a big deal as a spot of glue will soon sort the felt issue out. I had to reduce the rating due to the corners of the felt not being stuck down correctly as that is a quality issue and the boxes should be checked before being packaged. So, it's a quality control problem. Although not major it is still an issue.Overall, setting aside the felt issue, the rest of the product is well made, the hinges on the lid are assembled well and this box will look good in any kitchen / dining room so I am recommending it but to get that extra star back the manufacturer needs to pay more attention to the final quality checks. This is a good quality product and it is good value, just make sure to check the felt on the base and glue it if necessary.

Sadly this tea box was poorly made and would not sit flat. I suspect eventually its bottom would fall out.
