Great low profile cooler
This is a nice cooler...it is in a inwin b1 on a 5700G built around the ASRock b450 itx fatality...my main complaint with noctua similar but more popular offering is the direction it vents, it pushes air out left and right vs up and down so basically airflow is cut off by the memory and IO area ..this one from thermalright is exactly opposite it vents out the top and bottom(with convection mostly top) so this little problem as basically gone, the mounting mechanism defenetly isn't noctuas famously easy to use one but it's effective and considering I'm not going to be taking the cooler off twice a week it's fine and iv defently seen worse on soposedly high end cooling solutions so I have no complaints...if I were to pick a single thing to hone in on with this brand it's the smorgusborg for varients they offer, 36mm copper(black or gray) 43mm aluminum copper or black copper, 53mm in all versions mentioned above, all difrent weights...ya it's a bit much for your average consumer...but that being sead I was able to find 2 that I liked that would not only maximize the height in my specific case wile leaving enough of a gap to pull in air but I also had a choice of color so there is that...but I think to drive my point home here I ended up buying 2 one all black that is soposed to be coated copper and one that is just all copper becase aperently even tho they are the same under the coating they are showing in the description as difrent weight and wattage so we will see about that once I receive the secound all shiny copper heavy one lol...overall I like them they are not over engenered just to make a basic mistake like push the air in a direction that on every itx motherboard made in the last 10years has many large tall things called ram modules RIGHT there basically eliminating any benefits of your product being heavy dense and well built lol...good job thermalright you didn't forget the basics-----------Update I just received the full copper revision of this model and yes it is infact noticeably heavier...I will defently be swapping out the all black one for this one and pairing it with the noctua slim 92mm fan from a nh-l9a and probebly artic MX 4 compound and doing some before and after testings on all the difreces...I'm not realy shur why this model is heavier than the black one as the black one is soposed to be full copper aswell just painted with a thermaly conductive paint and also nickel plated but we are going to find out what the results are of the difrences after testing...I want to be clear I like the all black model and the fans on these are ok, I will not be returning whichever one I don't use for this build long term I just want to make shur I am pairing the best possible solution with this 5700G to get the best possible cooling performance so I don't have to worry about my CPU temps in this airflow anemic case that is the inwin b1...lolI will likely just copy and paist this review for the copper one so there is a bit more feedback for both models becase as of right now there is very little user feedback on these and that a shame as they both have the same benefits over the noctua LP coolers that being they blow air up and are not blocked off by the memory or IO area(cooler or integrated sheald) but all the info in this review is still relevant for the copper one especial this part lol

Easy install, Perfect fit
Great little cooler, Take care when installing, when I installed on a LGA 1700 machine, I noticed that there is a possibility of over tightening it damaging the board. The fan is near silent, and the cooler is of good quality.

Works great
Great fan I swapped it with my stock Ryzen5 wraith under heavy loads I’d hit 200+ under heavy load with this I maxed out around 180 for the money fantastic product

Really good low profile cooler, but I got a broken bracket
The media could not be loaded. The unit I got had a broken bracket where 1 out of 4 screws wouldn't stay screwed in (see video). That means when I installed it, I was only able to tighten it 3 out of 4 sides.Im getting a replacement because it performed well even thought it was like that. I used it with a ryzen 3600 and it cooled it very well (around 54deg) even with its defect. It was easy, but confusing at first to install and the fit was really nice. It gives so much clearance for air to pass through. It is even better than the stock wraith stealth cooler. The fans were not going full speed and it was quiet unless under full load.Overall, its a great product but I am removing 1 star because it came with a problematic bracket. They need better QC.

Broken Mounting & Outdated Instructions
This wins the award for must infuriating PC building experience ever. First off the instructions are flat out wrong. They assume the cooler ships with Intel 115X pre-installed, but it's actually Intel 1700. That wouldn't be a big deal if the instructions were in legible English. This has such poorly auto-translated instructions that you can't tell if you need to stick with the default (which has been switched) or not, and you are screwed if you need to use Intel 115X because there are no instructions anywhere else.Speaking of screws, the biggest issue is the short screw (1700 default) got stuck to the backplane, which has to be removed to switch mounts. I spent hours and so much physical pain trying to get it removed. I eventually just had to return it since nothing short of hacking it off with a saw would remove it, which would just void my warranty and probably break the whole thing.

Wow!
So, here’s my setup: a Ryzen 7 5700g underclocked to 2.5ghz, 32gb of ddr4 3200mhz ram with 8gb dedicated to the integrated GPU, Jonsbo case with two 120mm fans. The fans are all set to run 100% all the time.I had the stock amd cooler fan mounted to an aftermarket extruded aluminum cooler that was about double the thickness of the stock amd unit and it worked fine, but had some issues. First it was about half an inch from the PSU and it was still heating up quite a bit under heavier loads. Running cinebench 2024 it peaked at 70.5c for the package temp. while hitting a score of 471. At idle temps were around 30c.Remember, it is underclocked. Now to this magnificent low profile cooler. First, idle temps hold at around 28.5c, which is really good. Running cinebench 2024 netted a score of 500 and temps maxed out at 63.3c at the package! There’s also quite a bit more room between this cooler and the PSU, which helps quite a bit I'm sure. I also reused the stock amd back bracket because it will center the cooler better than the included bracket. It’s also very quiet, just like the stock amd fan was, even at 100% speed.Honestly I’m blown away by this for the price of it. I plan on building a Ryzen 7 8700g itx build in the future and this is almost certainly going to make it to the list of components.
