Great and works well! Cold rainy surf fishing and sometimes these are great for this scenario's, tho for the price I wasn’t expecting zip ties, so I was very happy when receiving the item! Works well! Even caught a fish with it on

Bought this for my sturgeon bank rod so I don't tear up my finger on the braided line. Works really well, with 10 Oz you have to wrap twice around the chingaderra otherwise the line can slip off, or slide. Wish it had a way to attach other than with smaller zip ties, but would recommend

We use braded line when surf fishing. We use a gloved finger but often loose it or they are stiff from previous use and not dried properly. Then you just use your finger then the braid cuts your finger.This product saves your finger from being sliced, it stays on your rod. Very easy to use.

If you use braided line on your spinning rod, this is definitely a must have. Between this and the braided line, I can reliably cast over 100 yards.

Not the highest quality functions ok

You have to wrap the line around a couple times but this was amazing for surf casting in pretty bad weather.

Get yourself some hockey tape or something similar,these add an unnecessary step to your casting especially when you need to get a cast off quickly to breaking fish.At night and low light finding the damn thing is a chore,let alone threading thin braid unto it.Also loose line get easily caught on it aborting the cast.Wrap your finger and keep tape handy when it frays which will be awhile.

I use braided line for surf casting and this trigger has cut down on finger wear and tear, I’m still getting use to using instead of my finger to hold the line so every once and a while my release timing is off but that’s on me. I attached it with two cable ties so I can rotate it around the rod to get it where I need it. Wasn’t sure about it when I got it but after using I always will.

Expected a more solid construction.Was afraid to get a knockoff.I will see in the summer how it holds up throwing 4-8 ounce weights.But, looks ok. Happy.
