Good quality
Like new with some exterior damage to spine. Seems as though it will remain intact with use.

Great summary of Textbook
If you need a quicker overview of the Roger’s textbook, this is a great resource. It’s much easier to get through as a review.

Book was listed as new
Overall, I am satisfied. I am very particular about my textbooks. This is listed as a new item. It appears to have been previously opened. Visibly damaged. Unacceptable.

Decent review/overview, but not a good primary source
This book is probably a decent quick-reference resource, but it isn't a great text for learning pediatric critical care. I think complex topics such as congenital heart disease and post-cardiac surgery care really require detailed diagrams to make clear how "all the tubes are connected", while respiratory and cardiac physiology are really best taught with diagrams explaining the relationships between different physical and physiologic parameters (ie flow-volume loops, etc). The explanations contained in the handbook simply don't leave the reader with an intuitive understanding of complex anatomy and physiology/pathophysiology. It's too bad, because it seems like the handbook could have included a few more diagrams without drastically increasing the size of the book.
