This skull was perfect for the job! I needed it for my AP 1 class and I'm glad I bought it. For Lab Practical is so helpful because we need to be able to just look at the skull and tell the anatomical names for each structure and the skull has soooo many! Practicing at home definitely helped me keep my high grades! My kids named the skull Jonny! Lol

I like EVERYTHING about this skull. It is accurate—I should know being an archaeologist. I have dug up a few. It’s mouth opens and closes with a spring and the parts are labeled. As an artist now I love it!

I have used similar skulls in my anatomy class lab before that were far more money but within a semester the numbers got smudged to the point where they are no longer legible. Considering the low cost of these I gave it a shot and ordered some more. They are fabulous- durable and comprehensive for basic anatomy of the face and cranial bones. A word of advice. As soon as you get it/them, use a little clear nail polish and dab (do not brush) over each of the numbers so that they do not smudge over time. I cannot wait to use these in lab this Spring!

I bought this as a cheap study tool for my Osteology course. For what I’m using it for, the chips and cracks don’t make a difference in my studying. But it did come with 2 chips, and one that had a crack down the top the of the cranium. Otherwise, perfect for studying.

I had brain surgery in November 2019. I had 14 holes drilled in my into skull 💀 .I wanted a better look so my surgeon Help me pick this out on Amazon it comes with a handy Sheet to tell you what what . So helpful to better understand what they did to my brain.

The silicone pieces in the jaw came out the first day which was disappointing. But otherwise this is a great teaching/ learning tool. The top of the skull removes easily. I would recommend putting instructions with the skull for first time users letting them know that this is possible. But the skull is study. The numbers are legible. The reference tool is laminated. And very handy. I have named my head Bob.

Basically a skull someone outlined and numbered with marker..They forgot one number #54- (Mental foramen) and labeled both of them with #51- (Mandible) technically you could say it’s on the mandible but it’s clearly next to the mental Foraman. I’m not too concerned because I know, but for someone who is studying with this, this could confuse you. Because of this I took a closer look at all the labels and not all are actually correct. I will be erasing the inaccurate ones and already smudging off numbers and renumbering (hoping some hand sanitizer takes it off).Overall not too bad, sturdy mold and clearly shows what I needed.
