Sparse The Golden Ticket Game Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Board Game

Being a fan of the original movie, I took a chance buying this as a Christmas gift for my son, and well…myself. He’s 8, and absolutely loved it! Make strategic decisions by playing cards and moving to different spaces on the “board” to gain as many Wonka bars as you can. When all the chocolate bars have been claimed, everyone opens them up to see who has the golden ticket and wins the game. It’s always a different game, because even if you didn’t gain the most Wonka bars during the game, you could still win by holding the one piece of chocolate that has the golden ticket. The thrill of the find is always exciting! Great attention to detail, and follows the original movie very well.

The game is kinda hard to understand. We got the hang of the game after the first few rounds. Also theres a video on YouTube that explains how to play it. It was fun opening the Wonka Bars. It reminded us of Monopoly at first. *Thinking the game is going to take forever!* But, it wasnt too bad.It was more like the game Clue. It will def. Be played again.

I don’t arrive obviously used and opened. The products was all over the inside the box. The box even had holes in it that it was covered up with stickers the holes themselves actually went right through the entire lid.

The pieces seem fine but for a $30 gift, the box looks used.

My daughter and i bought this game to try out. Its a bit of a pain to put the chocolate bars in the sleeves and there is not a lot of room to store the stuff, but the game is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. Watch some youtube videos and you will figure it out quick. It's worth buying.

Looks fun and I get the object of the game but HOW to actually play is confusing. Even watching YouTube videos it doesn’t help. A little too hard for kids and needs better instructions.
