This thing is WARM
We lost our original infant insert from our car seat. Baby was due in the winter, so we were fine getting a warmer insert.Pros:Easy to installVery softWarmCons:Possibly to warm-hot. It won't work for the summerA little thin. Not really supportingNo after-market insert is approved for use here in the US. (The hospital almost didn't let us take our baby home as the insert doesn't pass their safety inspection.)This could be used in addition to the standard insert for warmth. But be aware that you might not be able to get your newborn out of the hospital with it. We like it for winter... it's warm for sure. But we won't be able to use this in a few months as baby gets sweaty with it.

Super soft
I bought this head support for my newborn. He is currently 8lbs and fits very well. This will probably will not fit him once he’s more than 15 lbs because it’s small but for now I am pleased with the product. It is very soft and shipping was very fast.
