Nordic Ware Sweet Snowflakes Shortbread Pan, Silver

I purchased this baking pan in an effort to “dress up” my shortbread for holiday gift giving. Smart move! The Nordic Ware brand has been well known to me for some time and, I’m sure, by many other people who enjoy baking. A great deal of artistry goes into the design process of the wide variety of items in their product line. Along with the durability of their products, this also makes them highly collectible heirloom pieces. Yes, they’re beautiful, but they’re durable as well, giving you many years of baking enjoyment. I choose to hand wash my pans after using them, instead of putting them into the dishwasher. They clean up easily, especially if you give them a good hot water rinse as soon as you remove the baked item. Otherwise, I soak them in a mildly soapy, hot water solution to loosen any remaining food that may have remained behind. Nordic Ware also sells a cleaning brush designed specifically for this product line. I suggest using something gentle like this to avoid damaging the inner surface of the pan. When used as directed by the manufacturer, these pieces produce a beautiful delicacy. I have gifted these delicious snowflake shortbreads to many people who have enjoyed them immensely. By purchasing bakery-style, appropriately-sized boxes and paper doilies, some beautiful ribbons and/or bows, you can easily present a lovely gift to someone who loves your famous shortbread. So if you enjoy baking, or know anyone who does, this is a great item to gift to them, or yourself. It elevates whatever you’re making into a work of art. Instant wow factor. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and excellent quality!!

This is a quality pan with gorgeous design that comes out nicely on shortbread. The non-stick coating does its job, though a little spray or greasing of the pan doesn't hurt. Tip: Keep the dough beneath the rope line, because you might want to go around the edges with a knife before attempting to drop the shortbread out of it. If the dough is above the line, it makes going around the edge difficult.

I just made shortbread for the first time! I followed the recipe and baking instructions, and when done, letting the bake cool for 10 minutes, then gently loosening the sides. I placed my blue plate on top and turned the pan over. The bake slid out with a plop. I then cut each piece, as instructed. This is the result! I couldn’t be more pleased. I now LOVE shortbread and love this pan. This pan is heavy and the pattern beautiful. Buy it now while it’s still in stock.

Saw the same pan, or similar, on The Great British Bake Off show, my wife makes shortbread for Christmas every year, came out great.

This is the best quality, heavy-duty pan! It was packed so carefully, and I'm really excited to start using it. After receiving this one, I’ve bought several more pans, and I know I’ll be a customer for life!

Product looks great, wonderful gift for my daughter. I mistakenly chose Amazon packaging; the pan was sent loose in an unprotected thin envelope & not in any original box, with no info about it being a shortbread pan. If you buy it, choose original packaging, then hope they add Amazon packaging in addition so it’s protected in shipping.

I love this on every level! It's detailed but easy to clean. I have the square pan which is more difficult to clean but less detailed. It cooks perfectly and everyone was blown away by the shortbread at Christmas. Item was delivered quickly, and packaged well.
