Women's Slimming Short Ruched Dress with Ruffle (Petite and Regular)

Beautiful dress. Love the plum color. Extremely comfortable. Very flattering. Not a deep plunging neckline and sits at the knee which is great but still makes you feel sexy. It came all folded up in a small square. Took it out, hung it up and the next day there was not one crease. Bought a size up (size 12 and I’m 5’5”, 155lbs) which I normally do for all dresses and it fit perfectly. Got lots and lots of compliments.

Bought this dress for my son’s wedding and it was worth every penny! Trust me you want to buy this dress. The fabric is amazing, it has stretch so you can move freely, dance, and enjoy the night. The style is so beautiful and flattering! I would buy this dress 100 times over in every color!! You will not be disappointed! I bought the navy and the color was spot on! If you want to look your very best for a special event then please give yourself the gift of this dress. 😃❤️👗

This is an AMAZING dress. As everyone has said, it hides any flaws or lack of a six pack. I'm 5'9" and about 150 pounds, very long legs, very short waisted. My issue is always my bust, 38DD. I bought a size 12. This dress fits beautifully and is elegant. It is comfortable. It drapes in all the right places. I liked it so much I bought it in the navy, then for another event in the bright turquoise for a summer reception, and now I'm looking at buying it in the burgundy. I know I'm going to hear from my friends that I have to stop buying multiple colors of the same thing, but I am here to tell you, if you're worried about maybe not being in the best shape you've ever been in and wanting a dress that makes you feel confident, comfortable, and feeling your best, this is THE dress. I cannot encourage you more to buy this dress. I originally bought a 10 and 12, and while the 10 fit, it was a bit tight, but the 12 just looks amazing. Buy it!

The fabric is thick and stretchy and fits snugly but is flattering. The olive green color is a more of a pretty, dark sage green than olive. I also tried the wine color which is a rich burgundy, not purple like in the photo online. The decoration is attractive and flexible. More than I wanted to pay for a cocktail dress at this time.

This is a perfect dress for a wedding guest or office party. It's very flattering and disguised my mom belly. I do think it runs small. It's not uncomfortably small as it has some stretch, but tight enough to see panty lines. I could get into the 6 and the 8 but the 8 felt more appropriate for my age.

The material is very heavy and doesn’t sit right on the back area near the neck. It’s a flattering dress in the front, but the way it pops out at the neckline makes it look like a hump.

This is a beautiful dress. I bought this for a wedding and got so many compliments. I even continue to get compliments when people see pictures. It’s sort of a scuba material so you have a Little stretch. The gathering in the front is perfect for hiding that little bit of extra in your midsection. The dress was very slimming. The only issue was that the delivery was complicated. I’ve never had this happen with Amazon before, but they would not deliver the dress without sending me a code on my phone and I had to give the code to the Amazon driver prior to delivery. This was a huge inconvenience for me because I work in a location and I cannot have my phone and let’s face it, who is home during the day to retrieve a code to give it to the Amazon driver. I don’t know why this was required and I’ve never had this situation with Amazon before. I tried to contact them and ask why this was and they couldn’t explain it. I live in a very safe area and never had any package delivery issues. I’ve had much more expensive things delivered to the house before that were left at the porch with no issues. I almost wasn’t able to get the dress, but just by chance my husband was there to get the code for the driver. I don’t recall seeing anything about the delivery when I ordered it that this was a requirement. If I had noticed it, I may not have ordered it. It almost caused me to not have a dress in time for the wedding. Huge inconvenience on delivery. I asked many others that order from Amazon if they ever experienced this and none had so I have no idea what the issue was with this dress.

This dress was very poorly made. None of the raw edges or seams were finished and the dress was not hemmed. The condition of the dress when I took it out of the package was poor. It was completely wrinkled as a result of being crammed into a plastic bag. There was no attempt to even fold it. I had the impression that this dress had previously been worn/returned. The design, fabric, and color were as described but the manufacturer failed in execution of the design.

This dress was delivered to my home 3 days after ordering on Amazone. Perfect design, forgiving in the belly area, suits someone with a small bust. I bought a size 8. True to size with stretch which makes it very comfortable. If you eat out, the waist will stetch, that's good. My husband loved the color royal blue and said it was flattering on me. This is a classy and elegant dress, I can't wait to wear it this summer for the baptism of our first grandchild. I will definitely overlook Alex evenings designs in the future.

I loved this dress as not only is the style classic and beautiful its very forgiving. The shoulder width and bust area covers tastefully but still looks sleek but best of all the slight gathering effect camouflages imperfections in all the right places. I am usually a size 4-6 in the hips/thighs but I ended up having to reorder a size 2 and still had a little wiggle room so would size down as the stretchy and high quality thickness fabric makes it very comfortable. Looking forward to an opportunity to wear it again!
