Definitely a clarifying shampoo. Does not hydrate. Strips your hair of product to avoid buildup. You need to follow up immediately with a strong conditioning agent if you choose to use this shampoo. I will probably not buy this product again because it is too harsh for my damaged hair. After using it in the shower my hair gets tangled before I put in conditioner. Does not make my hair soft or manageable. The purpose of this shampoo is to strip the hair of products, it's not a great one for washing the scalp either. I don't even know someone I can give it to who would want to use something this harsh. I'll probably try to give it to my hair stylist friend for use on certain customers. She probably wouldn't even use it on herself. Would recommend this product for a salon only, it could damage a person's hair easily, especially if they use it, and then try to run their fingers through the hair. They could rip the strands easily.

Paul Brown products are definitely the best on the market. Hard to find except in Hawaii. The use of kukui nut oil is the key. If you can't afford the products use a simple organic shampoo bar and as a leave-in use a tiny bit of kukui nut oil on wet hair and let dry naturally.

Don’t be put off by the price. You need very little to lather.

Not sure what's in the bottle I received, but it is NOT like what I've used in the past. It in NO way resembles the real product I bought at a salon. From outside in: bottle cap is different, color of product is different, smell of product is different, viscosity and amount of product needed is different, performance is WAY different. This is not a hydrating shampoo - whatever this is turned my hair to straw with one use. Am returning for refund. Caveat emptor.

The BEST deep conditioner. My hair has gotten dry from repeated coloring and this brings it back to life like no other. Great for both a quick rinse conditioner or left in for an hour for a deeper condition. I have tried many many others and NOTHING works as well. Also, I am highly allergic to perfumes and this is all natural...no reaction...yeah!

Gave as a gift ,because my aunty won't use any thing else .she swears by the Paul Brown shampoo and the conditioner.

Have been using this for about 15 years. I have waist long fizzy fluffy hair. It really leaves my hair soft and not dried out. I use it with the diamond heads and the oil from Paul brown for a total condition using a hot hair cap. This is incredible conditioner works the best out of so very many products I have bought and never liked. I use it every time I wash my hair.

Love this shampoo had it for years. Did not realise I would have to pay £16.00 to the Post Office to have it delivered.
