Gorilla Tough & Clear; Double Sided Mounting Tape; Weatherproof; 1" x 60"; Clear; (Pack of 2)

The title says it all, this tape is probably one of the stickiest I've ever gotten. Tried using my sharp scissors, which normally could cut through double-sided tape, but not this one. The tape stuck to the scissors the second I attempted to cut it, and it was like glue. Great tape, used it to mount a pots and pans organizer, and it has not budged.

I used the tape to hold up an all metal magnetic knife holder. It’s on the side of a cupboard where the cheap wood isn’t a quarter of an inch thick so I couldn’t use the included screws. I found the tape to be very strong with little chance of allowing the knife holder to fall. I put the tape on the back of the knife holder first before sticking it to the wall. As with all of these rubbery stretchy double sided tapes, it’s kind of tedious to remove the tapes backing so you always end up destroying the end of the tape. I simply left a little extra tape hanging over the edge of the knife holder. This allowed me to remove the backing without destroying the part of the tape attached to the knife holder. I then just cut off that little extra piece of tape leaving only undamaged tape on the knife holder. The tape can be removed from a surface fairly easy simply by rolling it, but it's so strong that some surfaces may be damaged such as a painted surface, veneer or textured walls. The instructions clearly state that the item being hung should not be more than 3/4 of an inch in depth. So be aware that items with more depth stand a more likely chance of falling down as it is more difficult for the tape to hold because of the weight distribution. Kind of like how it's more difficult to pickup and carry a long 2×4 by just picking it up from one end. It's physics. Used as directed this tape performs as it is supposed to. It was the perfect solution for me.

Maybe I’m being a little unreasonable giving it 4 stars. But I’ve tried wiping the area needed clean, & leaving it to stick 24 hours before using it. It just won’t stay on 😩. It’s kept the hold on light towels for my toddlers. But it won’t hold mine that’s a little heavier. It doesn’t have a smell. It sticks REALLY, REALLY well. Idk if it’s from humidity in the apt because of heater & cooking humidity that it just won’t stick to water-painted wall. I’ve used clear tape on the wall directly under double sided tape & that worked for a while before it came off again. I’ve been really stubborn to try to keep it on lol. But it just won’t stick. Maybe it’s just THAT 1 wall, & not the product. So I feel really bad for giving it 4 stars because I do believe it works well. If I can figure out the trick to get it to stick o de & for all, I’ll update the review w the 5th star & w the tip that helped it stay up. Still highly recommend, by the way.

This tape was an absolute lifesaver for installing my Ring security cameras. I live in a rental and did not want to drill holes or risk damaging the walls, and this worked perfectly. The adhesive is incredibly strong and held the cameras securely in place right away with no slipping or sagging. It sticks well to smooth surfaces and feels very sturdy even with outdoor use. I was honestly surprised at how solid the hold is while still being renter friendly. I love that I can mount my cameras exactly where I need them without committing to permanent damage. If you are renting or just want a clean no drill setup for security cameras, this tape is 100 percent worth it. I would absolutely buy it again and recommend it to anyone looking for an easy and reliable mounting solution.

I needed this for a project and it worked initially and still does, but what was unexpected is that the things can fall off of the tape, but be readheared to them. Might work if you're not going to bump whatever is taped to the wall by walking by.

This double-sided tape is exactly what I expect from Gorilla—when they say it works, it really works. I’ve found it sticks even better if you trim off the very start of the roll (about a centimeter) before using it. I use this to hold my ModMic to my headphones, and it performs better than the 3M tape I used before. Strong, reliable, and easy to work with.

This was my first purchase of double-sided tape made by Gorilla. I am quite impressed.
