Pros: The fit and finish of this product was outstanding. All possible sharp edges had been dressed properly. Each screw has a bit of Loctite to keep them in place. The holster is very light and the paddle was easy to put on and take off. There is a very solid click when my SIG slid home. Cons: Couldn't find any with the holster. The cons are IMO only. I'm not a fan of the paddle system. I would much rather use a belt loop. Knowing that I shouldn't have this con but my pistol prints big time. OWB would cause that. A belt loop would make a bad situation worse. That said, mine is a full size, wide frame handgun. At the best of times it is hard to hide. OWB - not any concealment to be had. In looking through the catalogue that came with the holster, there were loads of IWB holsters that would do the job and do it well. I put CE's holster up against a Safariland GLS. Ordered both. Apples and oranges? I didn't think so. The Concealment Express blew Safariland out of the water. Quality was head and shoulders above Safariland. The fit was perfect - not for one of 200 guns but for my pistol. The feel of the product was substantial. Safariland did smoke 'em when it came to retention. Their level II GLS is hard to beat but CE never billed itself as anything but a level I holster. Well, retention would have been great if the retention screw hadn't been stripped along with several others. Upshot: I keep the concealment Express and sent the Safariland back. I couldn't recommend the Concealment Express highly enough.

I was looking for a lower cost alternative to some of the more well known holster makers for a basic OWB holster for my G48. The prices on simple kydex holsters has gotten a bit out of hand, in my opinion. This holster was coming in about 2/3 or 1/2 price which caught my eye. Further I liked the trim design and non-wide pattern that other holsters tend to have. Ordered and am overall happy. Retention is about what you’d expect for just tension retention on the pistol itself and it fit the pistol with no issues. Vertical retention is very good with the use of the hooks on the paddle. It’s a bit of a bear to actually get the holster off which is good. You can do it easily after you get used to how to manipulate it. But pulling vertically, the holster isn’t going anywhere with a proper belt. Horizontally however, it’s not good at all - even with a good belt, the holster was easily moved back and forth on my belt. Despite the claw hooks, it slid around. Instead of sending it back, I opted to try and find something to give it some grip on the paddle to better catch my pants. Laid my hands on some 3M Velcro pairs with adhesive on the back. I took the paddle off of the holster (two screws) and patterned the hook side Velcro in the shape of the paddle that would grip the pants (outward facing). Then applied the hook Velcro to the paddle and reinstalled. Worked perfect - no more horizontal shifting and the holster stays exactly where desired. Can’t give it 5 stars because it was missing this functionality out of the gate but otherwise I really like the holster, especially for the better price. Sticker they include is funny.

Excellent holster at a bargain price. Perfect fit, perfect retention, and secure on my hip. Very well made.

This is the 3rd Concealment Express holster I’ve purchased. Each has been for a different firearm. The quality on all of them has been solid and the form fitting KYDEX has always fit perfectly. I conceal-carry OWB between 2 and 3 o’clock, which can be a bit of a trick to avoid printing. The holsters are minimalistic (but provide full coverage) and add very little to the bulk of the firearm. The biggest challenge for me is the end of the pistol grip can print under a cover shirt. To fix this, I swapped out the rubber grommets used to offset the paddle from the holster body. I used a large grommet for the front bolt, and a very small one for the back. This resulted in the holster body having a 15 degree angle/cant relative to the paddle. With this modification, the but of the pistol sits flush to the hip now and does not stick out. Printing problem solved. One benefit with the KYDEX material used in this holster is that it’s easy to modify and mold. I put a red dot on my EDC and had to modify the holster to accommodate it. Making the mods was as simple as using a candle to warm up the KYDEX and pliers to stretch the material to accommodate the sight. I then used wire cutters to trim where needed. I’ve only had two issues in the year and a half I've used these holsters. The first is the hooks on the paddles can be a little too aggressive. This can be fixed by simply trimming the barbs down a little with wire cutters. The second issue is the anchors attaching the paddle to the holster body tend to loosen up over time. This is not a big deal. I just tighten them once every couple months. If I was more motivated, I'd use some blue Locktite. Given these minor tweaks, I’ve found these holsters to be very comfortable and durable. I thought the paddle concept would be awkward, but the shape seems to fit perfectly.

This holster fits my Canik Meta MC9 perfectly. It is easy to put on & take off. It attaches to your belt very securely. With a very reasonable price, I consider it a very good value!
