Yes the memory can be increased. There are 2 SODIMM slots available, both can be updated. The back of the laptop needs to be taken off to access the SODIMM slots. A small plate covers the slots, it needs removing to access the two SODIMM slots.

Does the 256GB laptop come with a pen ? It shows differently in the pictures

mine didn't come with the pen. Think you buy this separately.
