A little pricey for a piece of plastic, but it'll pay for itself in no time if you have a leaky old mig welder that people used to forget to turn off

I love this thing. Easy to look at and see if I left the gas on when I’m walking out of the garage.

They work. Good visual indicator for the valve position.You don't need them if you never forget anything or make mistakes.

Good indicator when you tightened hard on the valve. Bad when you turn gently.

I'm a weekend warrior welder, and I *have* forgot to turn off my gas, and come back to an empty bottle months later. There's nothing worse! Now you can't weld without a trip, AND it's expensive! This is an amazing way to prevent that. It won't force you to remember, but it *will* make it easier to identify when you forget! Plus, you won't have to walk across the shop to double check the bottle is shut as you leave, because you can see it clearly from far away. It's a simple thing, but it makes a difference. I bought one for my brother, too.
