Amazing ! although it was more than I prepared to pay but I am pleased with the product. Glad I paid more.

It transforms rice, Western porridge, and does a great job steaming vegetables like sweet potatoes or fish. Ok it’s exceedingly expensive, but trust me you will never look back. Only wish I had bought this years ago.

This was an upgrade for me from my previous slow cooker that doubled as a rice cooker, and now I used it a lot more often, the right size for one person or more, cooks rice and other grains amazingly. It is expensive but for me it is worth it.

We did stretch our budget a lot to get this rice cooker. It makes delicious rice. However, you have to buy high-quality rice. With low-quality rice, Zojirushi won't do the magic. Easy to clean, doesn't take too much space in the kitchen, has an internal battery so you don't have to set the clock again every time you unplug it from the mains. If you have already learned some Japanese words - for instance Lexus or Hibiki, then Zojirushi along with Made in Japan sign says all you need to know :)

The Zojirushi is an excellent rice cooker and looks good on the kitchen table. The timer is one of the best feature as you can set it to when you want the rice to be ready and it works out when to start cooking.However for the Indian variety of rice Sona Masoori that we cook daily, having tried different water combinations and cooking options it always comes out cooked but dry without moisture in the rice grains. The keep warm function dries it out even further. One good thing is that the rice at the bottom was never burned.Can’t say about how this cooker is for other Asian varieties.

After researching quite heavily on Zojirushi rice cookers that are available to purchase in the UK, this one came out as the best value to get.As far as I can tell, this is a nicer looking, cheaper version of the NS-YSQ10 with the addition of a steamer basket, and instead of a Sushi mode, there is a porridge mode.

First run was on brown rice. Perfect.

Der Reis gelingt wirklich sehr gut mit den Reiskocher.Im Vergleich zur klassischen Methode wird der Reis geruchs- und geschmacksintensiver auch ohne Zugabe von Salz.Für uns ist es jetzt richtig spannend sich durch die ganzen Reissorten der verschiedenen Hersteller zu Essen.Schade das wir nicht schon früher so ein Gerät angeschafft haben.

Pot started flaking inside after 6 months, not the first time with this brand. Didn't feel safe, decided to switch to Tiger and its ceramic pot.

Does everything you might need plus some thrown in. Great for dinner parties and when you need a big capacity and its just a push button and forget affair. Does all types of grains to perfection. Zojirushi is the Rolls Royce ( aka Rolls Rice) of rice cookers and well worth the money; It will last 10 yrs or more. Our last one is over 15 yrs old and still going strong but lacks the newer functions we needed. Make sure you buy a model that was made in Japan (not China) and that operates on 220 V ( they are available) if you live in Europe as Japan and USA are 110v
