Forever Link Mango-21 Lady Boot

I purchased two pairs, a brown and black boot of the same size and style. I wanted a cute fall boot that I didn't have to pay $100 for, considering the quality and function of these boots as a fall style accessory, these are comparable to the $100 boots you buy at a department store, but not as expensive. The black boots fit perfectly and true to size for a 10. I have wide calves so I was surprised and happy they fit. The brown pair however, just barely fits around my calves and they are the same size, brand and were purchased at the same time. I tried them with the same pair of jeans, too. So just beware of that, they fit but its a struggle to zip them. These function as cute accessories to outfits and for work or daily wear. These are not designed or made for winter weather as they don't have much if any traction. Overall, I would recommend them as I expected what I paid for and they are cute and match just about any fall outfit.

I admit I was a bit hesitant with purchasing these boots; they were so cheaply priced, I didn't know what to expect. However, once I received them and tried them on, I was surprised by how well they fit and how good they look! I ordered the Tan color, and they're pretty close to the picture color (except I think mine are a little lighter in color). They're relatively comfortable as some boots can be (I usually end up putting Dr. Scholls in all my shoes that aren't sneakers), and the bottoms seem to have good grip. The only thing I'm not too fond of is the bright, shiny, gold buckles and non-working zipper on the outside of the boot. Only after I pulled them on, did I discover there is another zipper on the inside of the boot that is the same color as the boot, which I prefer, that actually works! I'm 5'2", 115 lbs, and typically wear size 6.5. The same size was perfect for these boots, and I do like how snug the calves are (many times, boots have bigger sizes for calves, which always made me look like I was wearing boots that were too big for me, but I do understand many people prefer wider calves - if that's your case, these may be a bit tighter on you). All in all, these boots are not too shabby, especially for the price. I live in NYC, so we'll see how well they do in the snow and constant wear, but I'm pretty happy with them for now and am planning to buy additional colors to have on hand.

Second pair and the first lasted 5+ yrs of frequent use. Cute, comfortable and get tons of compliments. Plus the tread helps so much in snow.

Comfy and cute boots.However, seams just fell apart. Not even 8-9 months post purchase. I tried messaging the company. Would love to trade them for another that didn’t unthread itself. I never got a response.I had a friend and she had the same problem. Just unsure I would buy them again. I prefer companies who respond to people.Oh and I would not call them waterproof.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I just received these boots today and like any good amazon purchaser I ripped open the box and instantly put them all. Now I expected them to fit a little small (call me crazy but I'm little so I think things look better on me if they are a little smaller than bigger) so when I say they fit as expected, yes they are a little small. I normally wear a size 6 in all shoes and these kind of rub my big toe at the tip. If there are half sizes I would have bought that but I was scared a 7 would be to big. The struggle. But with that being said they are spacious on the sides width wise (again for my little feet) so no rubbing on the sides.Now onto the good stuff. These boots are awesome! I'm super impressive with the whole thing. The texture is great and they feel thick which is awesome because less flimsy parts up top. There is bend at the bottom but that's ok. My calves are the hardest things in most boots. Sense I'm small they are always SO BIG around the top half. Every boot usually looks like rain boots on me. These fit great! I can fit my figures in the top but not a huge gap. So if you have bigger calves it will probably be pretty snug. All in all I'll be ordering more.UPDATED: so sense I last reviewed these boots I bought 2 more. one Taupe and one black. I went ahead and ordered them in a 6 1/2 sense they had it in these colors. I have a little more room in the toes area than in the tan boots I ordered in the 6. The black boots seem to be slightly larger than the Taupe, but they are both size 6 1/2. Either way I still love them and wear all 3! It's like having a snug pair (tan size 6) a "perfect fit" (Taupe size 6 1/2) and a loose pair (black 6 1/2) but when looking at all of them you can't tell any size difference! All in all I still love these boots and still recommend them!

I wouldn’t say that I have wide feet but I felt like I did trying on these boots. They are very true to size. I wear a 8.5 and that’s what I ordered and zero room for warm socks. They are very stiff so plan on breaking them in before you need them. I have pretty thin legs and these were very snug around my calfs so if you are blessed without chicken legs, get a wide calf for sure. But for less than $30... I’ll keep them 😊 hopefully they last.Tip: keep the paper that they squish inside the boot and pull them up to the part where they fold the boot to help get ride of that crease (if you don’t have fancy boot holders).Edit: I’ve had them for a year and they are still great boots. No broken soles, no holes, they are comfortable boots.
