These are better quality OXO peelers than the ones I currently have. They have better gripping and safety features. They are sturdy. They perhaps fit a man's hand more appropriately than a woman's. I am very fond of all OXO products because they seem to last forever. I got these because I misplace my existing peelers in the sink and want to be able to grab one at all times.

We lost our oxo peeler and this 3 piece set was a perfect replacement. Best of all, amazon was able to deliver the very next day, so we could get back to cooking! I always have appreciated OXO peelers and this set provides an excellent collection of peeler options.

This set consists of three tools. The green peeler is intended for use with thin skinned vegetables or fruit. It is very sharp and works well. I would not let a child use it. The purple peeler is intended for thicker skin vegetables such as eggplant . It is very sharp as well. I have not used this yet. I have just recently started using the third tool to julienne carrots for salad. It does a much better job than I thought it would. The hardest part of the julienne is getting a good grip on the carrot. I found a small two tined meat fork stuck into the large end of the carrot at a 90 degree angle held it securely. I like these tools very much and would buy them again. Be careful that you don’t cut yourself and do not let children handle them.

Great combination that is exceptional quality. Good to replace old one that was dull and inefficient.
