They were exactly what I wanted for my new pantry cabinets.

Look great
I got these for a pantry door opens into an outside sun room that the local night critters were getting into. They look nice and keep the doors mostly closed, but not as snugly as I had hoped. While they weren't the solution I was hoping for -- I had to install additional catches -- they do help. I'm not experienced or skilled with lining things up or drilling pilot holes so for me it would have been nice to have some instructions, but I suspect most people who buy these know what they're doing. I also think the description "large" is a little subjective. Still, I may buy more because they look pretty cool.

Sturdy and well made.
While these latches are not heavy-duty, I would say they are medium-duty. They seem to be well made and are the appropriate design for my 97 year-old house and its cabinetry.

Perfect for bougie dog gates!
We made bougie dog gates and wanted the hardware a re to match our old homes brass hardware- they are amazing and work so well. We have had installed for a couple months now, with kids in and out using these gates, and they are holding up perfectly. Love the unlacquered brass look. Very timeless. Definitely recommend. Would be great for cupboards and etc. We just happen to be using them on dog gates in our home.

Solid. Great quality - easy to install.
Great quality, super easy to install in place of old latch. Ended up only needing to affix the latch part as the old receiver/hitch/saddle (whatever it's called) aligned nicely. Just as well given it was painted off and not keen to come off in a hurry!
