Even though it outputs at 1280x800, let's not forget this is a 7 inch monitor, and for this size, the resolution is sharp and more than enough. I do wedding and street photography. Having a large preview screen is very handy. This is a good screen for the value and I'm happy with the purchase. Would be good if sold as a kit to include batteries.
