All Pros, no Cons with this antler
My dog has not liked antlers in the past. I've usually bought her bones, which she loves but those are messy and greasy. The split antler seems to be the perfect trick to introduce a dog to an antler because they can get at the marrow easier.I bought the smallest size they have in the split and was pleasantly surprised at how substantial the antler actually is.PROS:1) My dog took to it right away and she gets lost in it for about 30 minutes at a time every day :)2) The antler is dry and odorless so that's great for my flooring, her paws, and fur around her mouth.3) It's a really great value. They're usually much more expensive.4) This brand seems to be very trust-worthy so I feel like I get a quality product every time.5) Antlers last a looooong time and since it's elk, it won't splinter (deer could splinter) so it'll be hours and hours and hours of good, literally clean fun for my pup :)CONS:NONE :)

Great chew but sharp edges
Nice for my puppy who chews a lot. Only problem is the small piecws are sharp for his gums and stomachI ordered some again to try and used only a short time before tossing them out. My veterinarian agreed about the small pieces of the antler being sharp in my dogs mouth and stomach. I've gone back to the nylabones.

Just ok, too small
I ordered this small bone for my small dog, I also ordered a larger one another one of my dogs. They both prefer the larger bone, which didn't seem large, was fine size for my smaller dog and it had more of the "marrow" in the center. This smaller bone did not and is just left laying on the floor. The interest in these didn't last long, even though they liked the larger bone for a while, I will not be reordering.

their small is big
My tiny 5 lb dog has figured out how to bite into the marrow portion of the split antler but the circumstance is a bit wider than I expected, I ordered a small perhaps this is maybe a medium and it's heavy for a little guy to drag around. I wish I had specified sending a smaller one but it's an excellent item.

Long-lasting for my teething puppy
My 11 1/2 lb teething puppy won't leave this (small size) Buck Bone alone! She quickly goes through all kinds of teeth sticks, ring, and bones, but not this. I do not smell any odor, either. SO happy with this purchase!

If you're looking for quality, look no further!
Our small dog,(18lb Lhasa Apso) has powerful jaws and most of the chews we've purchased in the past he can destroy in hours or just a few days. He has been enjoying this Elk Antler chew for a couple of weeks now and I don't see him finishing it for more weeks to come! When this one has expired I'm going right back to Buck Bone Organics for another.

Best pet chew
The pups will not stop chewing it. They love Buck Bone and want more. I have also given to a friend who's pup chews items around the house. She said her pup has stopped chewing household items. These are healthy alternatives and excellent priced alternatives to the bones in the store that are not healthy for your pet.
