Short and stubby aerial. Fits all of my Baofeng radios
Bought to use with my baofeng radios for short distance communiction such as at work in a smallish building, and for airsoft where a longer aerial may get in the way. Doesn't seem to have any noticeable effect on signal strength or sound quality (as you would expect a negative impact with a shorter aerial) i have added the tape as i managed to crack the outer cover (i did drop it from my waist whilst installed on a heavier uv21 boafeng radio and it must have landed head first). No complaints

OK ish on 70, VSWR on 2M is very high. Also Diamond do not make this kind of antenna.
OK ish on 70, VSWR on 2M is very high. Also Diamond do not make this kind of antenna.VSWR on 2 is over 9, and around 2 on 70. If you look on Diamonds website you will not see this antenna! I wonder why! I only bought this for its SMA configuration also size, also only used on 70 to a MMDVM which is why I gave it 2 stars.
