Brio Never Disappoints!
I wrote a previous review of Brio train sets and accessories so I will just restate that Brio train toys are great for little imaginations! The quality is excellent and the sets can be interactive for little people to set up their own “idea” of how the world of trains should be designed!

Well made, enjoyed by our kids, but overpriced
The BRIO Rescue Firefighter set was a hit when we opened it for our 2 year-old. He enjoyed it immediately, liked pressing the button on the engine vehicle, and enjoyed pushing the vehicles around the track. Our 5 year-old also showed great interest in it. So I think you can probably go in to this purchase knowing it will be used and enjoyed. In terms of quality, I found no defective elements and was pleased by the overall sturdiness of the toys. The fire engine vehicle makes noise, butt he noise was well-calibrated, unlike some toys. Not too loud, not ear piercing. The tracks fit together well and were free of any rough or splinter-ey edges. I think this set is overpriced for what you get, personally: 3 small vehicles, one figure, two small buildings, one transparent fire piece, and some wooden track. If this were Lego, let's say, I think it would be about half the price, and Lego is not known for its reasonable pricing. I think it should retail for about 60% of what it is currently listed for on Amazon, which would bring it in line with comparable toy sets.
