Q: Does it damage the wall

NO it does not at all damage the wall. The stickers are removable and movable many times over. I have moved the leaves a few times on mine and they came off and went back on really easily.

Q: Am I able to take it off, and reuse it?

There is always a chance but. I don't think so. I tried to reuse smaller wall stickers and it did not stick that well to the wall again.

Q: Is this okay for a bathroom wall?

It is very large so if you happen to have a big wall it might work. I’m not sure how moisture would affect it. We had ours in the kitchen (this is our 2nd one as we repainted wall) and it handled being wiped down regularly with spray and cloth. I’m going to guess that steam from the shower won’t be too much of an issue.

Q: What finish of paint works best for this? eggshell, flat, semi-gloss? there's no textured walls but we are repainting the area.

I would think it doesn't matter. I've had it on semi-gloss walls. Once up for a while, if you try to take it down it will peel some of the paint.
