Easy installation, works good, good price

Used on my Sequoia 2010’ with Dot key as suggested by the support, I had gone to their website and emailed them for advice since the starter they had specifically for the Sequoia was only for G key, they suggested this one for Tundra same year ant it works perfectly from the moment I programed it. It’s ideal, works with your current remote fob, and after I start it I just put the key in and turn it to on like normal, then break, shift out of park ( that’s when the headlights turn on, since normally they’d be on already) and I’m off. If I don’t put the key in and step on the break the car will shut off. Also it only stays on for 15min, then I’d need to remote start it again or just get in and turn the key as usual to start. Love it. Easy install only thing is the video that comes with the product (via QR code) and the instruction are a bit like a kids puzzle, you got to put them together a bit. But YouTube probably has a whole step by step one so look for it maybe and see how simple it is!

Installed in about 20 minutes. This product works perfectly. Very well made quality product. Looking forward to years of use. Thank you Start-X!!!! I paired this unit with a Compustar remote (just email the startx support and they will guide you with what remote to purchase) I simply plugged the remote connector directly into the start x unit and now I have 3000 ft range on the remote. I have literally started the truck from inside the back of a big box store walked out to the middle of the parking lot and the truck was running. No worry about theft with the start x units they immediately disable the engine if the brake is depressed prior to putting the key in the ignition. Great stuff all around for a fraction of dealer costs. I hope more come online for other vehicles!!!

This was easy to install and program

I followed the provided instructions exactly as written as well as copyimg the video guide. Unit installed correctly but it will not program. No phone number to contact support. When I found the parent company's phone #, their voicemail is full. Wasted a ton of time for nothing, very disappointing.

This works fantastically. I would highly recommend this product if you have a vehicle without remote start. It uses the same keyfob as your current remote, so you dont have to carry an additional one. The manufacturer's instructions are not the best. Look on youtube to find a better guide. Only had 3 weeks but has come in handy during winter. I Bought the Amazon protection plan bc some people said it quit working within a year...

Simple install, just follow the video from the link in the box and READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AND DIAGRAM BEFORE DOING EVERYTHING. I made the mistake of not reading the diagram and ended up unplugging everything and trying to figure out why I had two spare cables (they plug into the remote start box…). Otherwise a good upgrade if you have a tundra. The freezing cold has been bothering me in the early am so I bought this to get it to defrost and warm up for me. Will try to update after actually using it. My main concern was not being able to unlock the truck or the truck auto unlocking when started since my tundra won’t let it lock while the key isn’t in the ignition, but that ended up being a non-issue. Fob still works when started and the truck stays locked when remote started. Honestly work the money even just for the ability to start the truck, remove the key, and walk away with it locked.

Works just as expected was tough installing on my 2010 tundra but I managed and I did forget a plug and panicked when it wouldn't work but figurd it put and works like a dream I would definitely recommend to another friend or family :)

Great starter, had it installed and running in less than 30 mins. The problem I have noticed is that if you get in the truck after remote starting and accidentally crank instead of just turning the key one click, the starter grinds very badly. I thought there would be some way to prevent this.
