How many grams of actual powder are included?

Each resin pigment in our Geode Art Collection Sample Set weighs 10g / 0.35 ounces. Since there are 10 different color pigments in this Collection, the entire Sample Set weighs 100g / 3.5 ounces. You can see in the video the volume of one bag containing 10g of MEYSPRING Opulent Tanzanite -one of the most popular pigment powders in this set.

So can this be used to turn regular pen ink into metallic ink? How could it not clog the ballpoint pen?

While you can use MEYSPRING's Sterling Lining true metallic pigment to create a beautiful metallic ink, it is best used for fountain or calligraphy pens. This is because all our pigment powders are made up of extremely fine particles which don't dissolve, meaning they can settle in ink, potentially causing clogs in ballpoint pens.

How much will I need to turn a whole gallon of varnish opaque?

Whenever I've mixed mica with varnish I always start with a small amount, and the finish will be different depending on whether it's your base coat or finish coat

Can this pigment be worked into regular acrylic paint or pastels?

Yes, MEYSPRING's Blue Calcite mica powder pigment can be effortlessly mixed into acrylic and oil paints! Simply add a small amount of pigment at a time and mix until you reach the saturation level you like. We recommend using a clear base when you want to keep the original color of the pigment, as already colored acrylic or oil paints can affect the actual hue and pearlescent effects of the pigment powder.
