Great tasting and versatile... and it's just peanuts!
I initially purchased this product as a substitute to powdered peanut butter, but it proved to be better and more than that. I like that the only ingredient is peanuts, as I can add salt, sweeteners or flavoring to my liking. The flavor is medium intense, but natural and tasty. While the powder is kind of clumpy out of the packaging, it dissolves easily in water and mixes well with other flours for baking. For a quick peanut butter alternative I just mix it with a bit of salt and add water to my desired consistency (sometimes I want a thicker butter, other times I want something more runny). It tastes and mixes better than any powdered peanut butter I tried before.Otherwise, it can be mixed in almost everything. I personally love 10 grams mixed in yogurts and oatmeal; it adds a nice flavor and also some thickness. I'm not a smoothie/shake drinker, but I assume it would work well for those purposes.I have used the peanut flour with success in waffles, pancakes, muffins, bars (either protein or oat based), breads and other baked goods. The flour adds a wonderful peanut flavor and cooks well. It makes the end product a little drier (especially if you substitute actual peanut butter in recipes), but adding a little more liquid/butter/applesauce/etc. or something like xanthan gum helps with moisture.I also use it combined with liquid aminos to make an Asian inspired peanut sauce, great with crunchy veggies or noodles. The peanut flour comes block-packed / vacuum-sealed in the original packaging, I transferred it to a separate container. I personally don't mind it doesn't come in a resealable package, I like to keep flours in my own containers to optimize pantry space and organization.Note: The product I ordered in April 2019 had the `Best-by-date` in March 2020; it's not a long shelf life, but I use it regularly so it won't sit that long in my pantry.

I wish I had known before about peanut flour!
I think this product is excellent.I have made peanut butter cookies with it (the recipe on the package uses WAY too much sugar, though...you may want to adjust to taste), and also made peanut 'butter'. What is awesome is the fact that it only contains 15% peanut fat, and more than twice the protein per serving (1/4 cup...which is 33% more peanut butter than the standard two tablespoon serving of regular peanut butter)...and HALF the calories. For someone like myself who has been on a weight loss program and has been careful about how often to eat pb & j sandwiches BECAUSE of the high fat content (50%) of regular pure peanut butter-(which I really really LOVE)...Well, let's just say I think this is a gift from heaven! But be advised...while it retains nearly all of its peanut butter taste, the lack of oil is noticeable in texture and overall flavor. If you are an absolute peanut butter addict, you might want to blend-to-taste a mixture of both regular pure peanut butter, and the peanut butter flour. As for me, I added a couple of teaspoons of olive oil to a one cup mixture of flour and water to round it out a bit, but I think the olive oil does take away a bit of the actual peanut butter flavor. You may want to experiment with other oils (I will try hazelnut oil next time because it has a very high monounsaturated 'good' fat content and it is also a nut-based product, as opposed to olive oil). You also can create your own desired thickness of peanut butter, and add nuts if you are a 'crunchy' PB fan (I use chopped almonds because they are also high in protein and the 'good' fat).Again overall, I think this is a terrific product.

Awesome product, adds a delightful peanut flavor to almost anything
I can't find this product ANY WHERE in stores which shocks me because pressed peanut flour is awesome and I can find almost every thing in Atlanta.I started using this because of the Trim Health Mama diet, but I now don't know how I ever lived without it! This peanut flour adds a delightful peanut butter flavor to all of my old baking recipes. I'm watching my calories (obviously) but I love peanut butter. This product is the answer. It is a WONDERFUL way to add a lot of peanut flavor without the calories of peanut butter. It is also great in smoothies! Love Love Love the product.I only gave it four stars because it is vacuum sealed. There is no way to reseal the bag once opened and the bag is a little difficult to open (I had to use scissors). Once open, I re-purposed some tupperware to hold what was left. Of course, that was only after I made the most amazing peanut butter cookies so I am not too upset. On the flip side, if the packaging was better, the price would be higher and I think this is a great value for a great product.

This is a versatile product. I really love it!
LOVE this stuff! It's excellent for making peanut sauce with some soy and chilli sauce for my clumsy but tasty version of thai food. I like chicken and shirataki (which I make myself) and some frozen veggies with it. Easy to customise it so it's the way I like it, without the extra fat and additives that the major brands dump in theirs. I add some stevia (a teeeeeeeeeny bit) and himalayan sea salt. Basically you can do a whole lot of thins with this; make peanut butter, use in baking, use in yoghurt or with protein powder (which I do a lot), and I also like to mix granola with the paste I make from it.

Makes me so happy!
I used to purchase this at Trader Joe's and they stopped carrying it. I was very disappointed and couldn't find it anywhere retail. My stash in the freezer from Trader Joe's was dwindling! I tried the PB2 kind but didn't like the added sugar. I stumbled across this and it was exactly what I was looking for.It is a great substitute for peanut butter on my toast or to dip apple or celery in. Sometimes I mix it with just water, sometimes with water and a little vegetable oil. Good with just a touch of salt and cinnamon mixed in. I love how I can control the fat, sodium and sugar levels myself. Also great to make an easy peanut sauce for asian noodles. This seems like a small package, but it is vacuum packed and there is a TON in it, also it goes a long way.
