Using a dataport USB-C with a Vizio VSB-200 Soundbar (vintage 2009) with RCA connectors.Works perfectly. No pops, crackles. Just smooth sound.The cable will not amply the sound, only provides the sound signal and volume control to the speakers. It is up to the speaker/sound bar to provide sound amplification and sound quality.
