This spirulina and chlorella contains 360 small tablets. The recommended dosage is 12 tablets in a day, which it suggests are taken at three times over the day. This gives 30 days supply. The tablets are in a glass bottle. The expiry date is 34 months after delivery so nearly 3 years.When smelling the container after it is opened there is a clear smell of spirulina. The tablets themselves are small and are easily swallowed. There is a smell of spirulina from them and when taking them also a fairly subtle taste of spirulina. However, it doesn’t leave almost any after taste and that fades quickly.I have been interested in Spirulina for some time but this is so much easier to take than powder form, which I just could not get on with. Spirulina is high in protein and contains vitamins and minerals (Vitamin E, B Complex), cartenoids, flavonoids, polyphenols, essential fatty acids as well as copper, iron and selenium. It is also easily digestible.I am interested in possible benefits I may get in relation to general immune system, help with weight loss, heart and gut health, cholesterol management, blood glucose management and blood pressure.The addition of chlorella is a very interesting one as it is has many similar potential benefits. This is a great supplement, that is easy to take, though with a lot of daily pills.

*EDIT* 1 month later * She’s still not keen but they are now cut in half and they are chewed with half a mini box of raisins…progress!It’s hard to tell if these are helping as of yet so can’t comment on that but I can comment on the fact my daughter hates the taste! They do smell quite strong too. I cut the gummy into quarters and mix them with with a little box of raisins. It doesn’t really work but she’s sticking with it bless her!
