Great Buy
Great product. Set up was easy and less than 30 minutes. Bought for my 8 year old and the size is perfect. My 19 year old even fit good enough to drive it around the corner to the store. I plan on buying a second one.

AMAZING LITTLE ELECTRIC SCOOTER!!- GOING ON 3 YEARS SINCE I BOUGHT IT!- STILL GOOD AS NEW!!
This Razor brand electric pocket mod scooter, was a HUGE hit back when I first bought it for my at the time, 9 year old daughter's, big Christmas gift! We have got so much use out of this little beauty!! My four neices and nephews, are now also old enough & tall enough, to use it too- &THEY ALL LOVE IT. Between the 5 of them in total- they rage from the ages of 4 yrs old through 12 yrs old. And they all love using this electric mod. You need to remember to plug this item in when not in use. But I will also say, I was very surprised with how long the battery lasts! We bring it to the campground, we use it in the grass in the backyard, it's always a huge hit at family parties, cookouts, etc. The scooter itself is now 3 years old- & honestly- IT STILL LOOKS &WORKS JUST AS WELL AS THAT 1ST CHRISTMAS MORNING, WE FIRST USED IT! I got it at a fabulous price, during black Friday or cyber Monday specials. It was less than $200.- at that time. I would suggest 1 thing- THAT IF U HAVE 2 CHILDREN- DEFINITELY BUY THEM EACH ONE OF THESE! IF NOT, YOU WILL DEAL W/THEM FIGHTING OVER USING IT... &IT'S GREAT TO HAVE A, "BUDDY", TO RIDE WITH TOO! The seat lifts up, for storage purposes. I keep the charger in there. REMEMBER TO POWER, "OFF", THE SCOOTER WHEN NOT IN USE- OR THE BATTERY WILL DIE MUCH FASTER. OVERALL HUGE HIT!! I BOUGHT IT FOR MY DAUGHTER.. SO WE CHOSE THE COLOR OPTION OF PURPLE& WHITE. BUT THEY HAVE A FEW COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM. BOTH BOY & GIRL FRIENDLY COLORS. OH YES!- THEY ALSO SELL ACCESSORIES FOR THE SCOOTER AS WELL! WE BOUGHT THE SILICONE TWIST TIE LED BLINKING RED HEADLIGHT FOR THE FRONT OF THE HANDLE BARS. BECAUSE- THE FRONT, "HEADLAMP", IS DEFINITELY FOR AESTHETIC PURPOSES ONLY!! THE, "HEADLAMP", SHOWN IN THE PICTURE, LOCATED ON THE VERY FRONT OF THE SCOOTER- DOES NOT LIGHT UP. BUT OVERALL- ONE OF THE BEST XMAS GIFTS I HAVE EVER INVESTED IN!!

Granddaughter loves it!
We bought this a couple months before Christmas. I have read reviews that if there is a problem with the scooter, the company was slow to respond. I wanted to make sure there was no disappointment Christmas morning. The order was placed via Amazon Prime and arrived within a couple days. The free shipping saved us a bunch of money. Walmart sells a different model by the same manufacturer but the granddaughter had picked out this particular one. In the end, it was actually cheaper AND I didn't have to deal with Walmart! Actual assembly time was maybe 30 minutes but I spent about 2 hours trying to get to the compartment under the seat! Apparently the plastic bag with the instructions had become jammed in the the compartment somehow, making it impossible to lift the seat up. It took 2 hours of searching the internet for help, Facebook friends, and even a crowbar before I finally looked inside the rear wheel well and located the spring keeping the seat down! I stuck a flat head screw driver between the two little prongs and it popped right up. I'm writing this to let you how dumb I am and how tought this scooter is. Seriously, I took a crow bar to the seat and did no damage to the scooter! Plus the crowbar didn't work. This thing is sturdy!!! I had no problems assembling the scooter. The tires did need to be aired back up but only a little. Since Christmas I have had to add air to the rear tire which is not easy. The distance between the air valve and the hub is short and the sprocket is in the way, but it is doable. The battery has lasted 1 to 1.5 hours of riding between recharges. We are in the country with no pavement or concrete anywhere close. It is driven on gravel roads and open fields. I'm sure it would last longer on flat hard surefaces. My granddaughter is 9 years old and long legged. She fits on it just fine. It is plenty fast enough to please her and scare me. This is a great little vehicle. It is not a toy, this is transporatation. So far we have absoultely no complaints. I'm very happy we purchased this. 2/25/14: this little thing has held up really well! I am truly surprised at how little work we have had to do on it. My granddaughter is now 10 and still rides it frequently. It's been too cold and wet for daily use. I guess like any kid she has tried her best to destroy it but it has held up to big holes, deep water puddles, sticks in the chain, and all types of abuse. We are very happy. With a little more care it may become a hand me down for the 4 year old some day.

Great for my 10 year old
We bought this for our small ten year old. . . she's about 65 pounds and one of the smaller ones in her class (that means I don't know her height. :) ). Anyways, she loves it and I think I do, too. It did arrive as expected but did arrive with some scuff marks on the plastic. I'm not sure this will buff out or not; we didn't try. The "light" in the front is decorative only and doesn't work, as I expected. We didn't care about the scuff marks and I doubt my daughter even noticed them at all. There's a hand brake but, to get the bike to work, you ACTIVELY have to twist the left handlebar. . . if you let it go, the bike's motor will stop. .. so, in fact, it's very easy to stop and go. Also there's a center kick stand that was easy to teach my daughter how to use. There's storage area under the seat which is a plus. It arrived charged and with the wheels inflated so, after 20 minutes of assembly (which really means putting the front wheel and handlebars on), she was off and riding for almost an hour. It was still going strong but we plugged it in at that point to charge. Here's why I really recommend it, though. We had a razor "motorbike" style scooter for my son when he was about the same age. Razor MX350 Dirt Rocket Electric Motocross Bike He's outgrown it and it's sitting in our garage still. Well, our daughter really wanted to ride it but I would have had to replace YET ANOTHER battery for it to get it going again. That scooter had no overcharge protection and had a more complicated charging process. We had to replace the battery a few times during the year or two when my son was riding it. . . and batteries cost about fifty dollars, but I think I may have found a site where I only paid thirty-five. Still, inevitably we'd let the bike charge and forget about it and the battery would QUICKLY die. . . I don't mean after a few charges more, I mean the MOMENT we overcharged it, it just wouldn't work anymore. EVER. Anyways, although I'll update if this turns out differently, this newer model has overcharge protection AND a charger with a light that turns from red to green when fully charged. So, this purchase was worth it to me for this reason. Supposedly, the battery lasts for about 250 charges, too. It seems to go about 15 mph as stated and our neighborhood is really very hilly. . . she zipped right up the big hill immediately with no lag. She's only 65 pounds and I'm not sure if it would take me up the hill, but I was able to ride it fairly comfortably around the big circle we live on and it was comfortable enough (though really small). It states it's for riders ages 12 and up-- I think most 12 year olds would be too big for this since most of them are nearly adult size. This comfortably fits a pre-teen child.

A great little scooter!
I purchased one for my 10-year old son, who thought it looked cool. He's right about the way this scooter looks. It is just a mini version of a Vespa, except the front fender does not turn with the wheel. The packaging for this is bomb-proof and with a box within a box, it was easy to get out of the packaging and set up. All in all, it took less than ten minutes to get it ready. Be sure to give yourself the full 12 hours to charge the battery before riding to ensure that you get the battery off to the right start. There are some complaints about battery life, and the recommendation is always to start with a fully charged battery. The fit and finish of the scooter are impeccable. It runs up to the advertised speeds (15 mph) with my 105 lb. boy on it bedecked with winter clothes. It does not climb very well, and grades of maybe 4% will challenge it. Steep driveways and roadways will require getting off and pushing it. Be sure to check with local regulations about driving one of these on public roadways; some states are much more strict in words and actions than others. The scooter is light and can be pick-up by an adult with the handlebars and the handle on the back of the seat. Well-balanced and well-designed. Though we have stored ours for the winter, we all look forward to seeing it zip around the neighborhood when things thaw. I'll report back on how the bike held up in cold storage.

REASON PURCHASED: For my fragile ole broken body. I won't even let my niece or nephew touch it. ABOUT ME: 38 y.o. female, 5'2", 105 lbs I'm sortakinda disabled, and was sick of watching everyone in my house go for bike rides into the Colorado sunset without me. My Santa Sister bought this for me as a wayyyy early xmas gift (no, you can't have her). THE YAYS 1. Holy 10 on the FUN meter, zoom zoom! 2. Super Easy assembly - until I got to the spoke tightening and got a tad confused by the directions (first it says you may need to tighten more than 1/2 turn and then it says it's important not to tighten more than 1/2 turn) 3. Easy to operate - I love how smooth everything is, I never hit the brake and feel jolted by the stop. 4. The storage seat - even though I don't get a workout, when it's 95 degrees I still need some agua! THE NAYS - I have quite a few, but I still gave it 4 stars because I'm nit picking ... a bit 1. The stickers - I wish they were never applied since they were applied SO poorly (wrinkle city) 2. The kickstand - unless I'm missing something, the only way I've found to put it down is by lifting the rear end of the scooter and this is hard for me. 3. The handlebar height - this is a nit, because clearly the scoot was made for kids, but I wish there was a way to raise the handlebars a few inches. I can't ride for long because of the lean required to hold onto them. 4. I feel like it could've been designed with a brake light ... since it's electronic, how hard would it have been to wire a low voltage LED bulb to the bullseye in the back? 5. Flimsy plastic - when we pulled it from the box it already had scratches on it, the stock photo used to sell it definitely makes it look more sleek and shiny than it actually is. I may even take it somewhere to see if the handlebars can be modified, but all in all, I am definitely glad I'm on the nice list this year!

Big hit for 10 year old!
Purchased for my son's 10th birthday and he LOVES it! He's tall for 10 and has no problem fitting. Really nice quality and goes pretty fast (but the right amount of fast for 10). Very happy with our purchase!
