Does this come with the side rails to install the 2.5 inch drive in? I don't see a picture including it on the listing.

No it doesn't. i think the rails that you are looking for are actually rubber sleeves. I install w/o them in my precision 5510 and the SSD actually rattles a bit when you shake the laptop. I will likely try something else to fill the small void and prevent the noise. Maybe something that can withstand a little heat (i.e. rubber, form,etc).

Same for XPS-15 9560?

Mine is 9550, but I believe the 9560 is a minor variation. To be certain, go to Dell support and input your service tag and download the proper service manual. You will see that it covers XPS 15 without regard to the specific version. My 9550 came with an SSD, but the "cage" that holds the hard drive was installed. Some versions have a larger battery and there is no room for a hard drive. If you do have room, you may need to buy the cage, two silicone grommets and the cable. Several Amazon sellers sell them as a set, and most show what models are compatible. Mine took some time to recognize the additional drive, but it ultimately did.

Perfect fit for the Dell XPS15 7590

I recently bought a Dell XPS15 7590 with a 256GB SSD and the small battery. I wanted to add more space and had a Samsung 850 EVO kicking around which I wanted to install instead of purchasing a larger NVME SSD. The 7590 came with the 2.5" bracket but no SATA connector. As I read on a forum, this cable also works on the XPS 15 7590 and I can add another confirmation of that. The cable fit perfectly and the drive works. I was happy to find this nice inexpensive solution.

Received the cable quickly and it worked perfectly. The only reason for the 3 stars is there was no indication it was a Dell OEM product on the packaging / item, and from the look of the product page and the price I thought I was buying an OEM product.
