Great lights, excellent quality and lighting modes.
I have this mains powered outdoor icicle lights in 9m length with 240 LEDs.These lights arrived boxed. They look well made, the length of the cable from the plug to the first bulb is very generous - 10m, allowing me to put them up everywhere I want.Wires are seethrough and quite flexible, so hopefully will last long.Light is of a pleasant warm white colour and has 8 different modes, plus a memory function. The lighting modes can be changed via the button on the plug.I like the most steady one. These lights would look nice and very decorative inside and outside.Lights are 9m long, but I need twice as much in length and sadly the second set cannot be connected to the first one.Great lights, excellent quality and lighting modes, I just wish they would have a socket at the end to connect the other set to make them longer.

Brr, icicle lights
The media could not be loaded. *disclaimer - flashing lights in video*A decent set of icicle lights for the home priced at £16.90 for 240 LEDs in warm white. It has 8 modes with a memory function which saves you having to cycle through them all to get your preferred setting. Simply press the button on the plug to adjust mode. They are waterproof and have a good length before the first string of lights to enable them to be placed on eaves or guttering of your roof. However, the plug is not and will need to be inserted inside or in a covered waterproof socket. The cable is clear, it seems sturdy but flexible and the parts that hold the LED lights are white. It says you could use indoors but I’m not convinced that would work unless your house is very cold.I like the different lengths of string to add a more convincing icicle look rather than in a row. If you need a longer set these are also available from same company.

Good icicle lights as a reasonable costs
This is a nine-metre string of icicle lights designed to be hung outside a house, ideally just below guttering or at the apex of a roof if it’s accessible. They are mains powered and the plug is not waterproof so will need to either me indoors or in a waterproof box. The problem with using a box is that the eight lighting modes are all controlled from a small button on the plug so you really need easy access to it.The lights are bright, are low-powered, and as they are mains charged there’s no need to mess around with batteries. Plus I think they are brighter than battery powered lights would be. The 240 lights are in warm white. I think they would be better in a cold white - I associate a cold white with icicles!Overall for the price these lights are pretty good. The addition of a remote control would be useful and, perhaps, a waterproof plug. I’ve dropped a star for these absent features. Four stars.

Icicle Lights
RRP £24.99. I was surprised when they arrived in quite a small box. They're 9M/29.5Ft with 240 LEDs and waterproof. They're nice and bright and have 8 lighting modes (combination, in wave, sequential, slo glo, chasing/flash, slow fade, twinkle/flash, steady on). They can be used indoors but as they're icicle lights then to me, they are more for outdoor and a Christmas theme light. They're plug in.Slightly overpriced but they look nice but I would only use them at Christmas time.

Pretty lights
These are “icicle” lights, that is, you have a central wire with other short lengths hanging off them. The wires hanging down vary in length, but they seem to go in sequence: 7 lights, then a shorter wire with 4 on, then 6, then 3, then the sequence repeats. The lights are warm white and do they seem very “yellow”, hanging from a clear/translucent cable. There is no remote but there are various functions which you access from the main plug. As you would expect you have the usual flash, twinkle, alternate flip-flop, slow fade, combination and of course steady on.I do like these. They are pretty and one thing I REALLY like is the long lead length before the first lights- 10 metres! Nice one! More than enough to get to your nearest plug socket! Would of liked a timer feature but that’s nothing a smart plug can’t solve.
