Clear-Com CC-26K-X4 Single Ear Lightweight Headset with XLR-4F Connector

I run lights for my local theatre. The headsets are usually very bulky and heavy, and with one earphone I get a pain in my neck as the weight is only on one side. With this I have no pain no matter how long the show is! I can even keep my earrings on when with the bulky sets I had to take them off. Sound quality is excellent! Never missed a cue. Can’t say enough how much I love this headset!

Super comfortable to wear for my theatre gigs calling shows. The shows I work on are about 2hrs long so I needed something light weight and comfy. Works with any XLR-4F connector, which is the standard connection for most sound equipment in theaters so it can be hooked up to any Com box. I can hear well through it, and others can hear me well.

This Lightweight headset works the way that it should. I just wish there was a small case to put it in for travel purposes.

First - this headset now ships with the newer version of the Neutrik XLR (which is good). I like the headset and it is much better than the large wrap around style headsets (CC-95), as I find those very very uncomfortable. This one is ok, but it isn't as adjustable as others (Telex PH-88). I have a smaller head and it is just a little bit too large for me. For about the same price I would probably go for the PH-88... I think it is probably a better headset in terms of head fit.

So lite I can wear it for a long time with out my ears being sore.

A few improvements over my old headset, of 15 years. It's a Clear-com. They work. They last. It may be expensive, but you are not buying a new one every year. My last one cost about $7.50 a year.

These have worked like a charm for our high school auditorium!
