I've had this light now for almost 4 years and it's a great product and purchase that you can use in all kinds of settings. When I'm camping, all I need is this light at night and my tent becomes the coolest tent around (the tent is an orange gazelle tent). I also used it as light when I tried a few nights car camping...it's amazing, because you can chose from all these different beautiful colors and use the little yellow ties to tie the lights to the handles by the ceiling. I also use them at home (I plug it into a small reachable battery) and I have a variety of colors to chose for the night...depending on how I feel. It's such a great buy! Thank you

I've been legit running one on an entertainment stand for over a year now non-stop! Cycling through the colors to give the room ambience, as well as not straining the eyes on the TV alone.I haven't tested it's waterproof capabilities yet. And sadly the batteries for the remotes go out quickly even when not in use. So I've just stuck with hitting the button on the light strip itself. I have 2 of these, and when I start traveling I'll be sure to bring 1 to test out. When I do, I'll upload images/video.

Very cute set up and used it for Christmas display

Bought these to use on our car awning but it’s not in yet so used them for our tent lights. I like the ability to change the colors. The white is really bright to use for reading in the tent. I wished I had gotten a battery for the remote because I’d rather be lazy and use the remote to turn them off then to have to get up and do it! LOL...Might get another set when the car awning is here!UPDATE… we used these for car camping on a 3 week trip. One lesson I learned is that I left them plugged into the usb charging bank after turning them off for the night only to discover that it must still be drawing power from the charging device. I had almost no power left on m usb device. Not sure why since the luminoodle doesn’t have a battery in it to hold power. Thank goodness we have a Jackary potable battery system.

This is an excellent, versatile product, but.... as others have noted, it MUST be unplugged whenever it is not being used, because it continues to draw power. How much power? It drained my Anker 10,000 Ma-hr power bank in about 15 hours - that's roughly equivalent to charging three phones. I assume it doesn't include auto-shut-off so it can keep listening for instructions from the remote control? At any rate, otherwise a very good product.

The media could not be loaded. Initially I had trouble making the remote work, i had to continue messing with it by trying to refit the battery properly and pressing buttons until it suddenly began to work. I bought this in order to use it every time I have to conduct training with the National Guard and light up places outside. However I realized that this luminoodle could also be used as those light strips behind TVs. The result was a very nice display of light which kinda settles you down and prevented me from turning on other lamps to prevent eye fatigue. So whenever I don't need it outside, this little concept will serve a purpose behind my TV and I have a basecamp version on the way for other projects 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Awesome so far even through I just got the product, will update after camping tripsColorful and awesome so far was my first review when I bought in jan 2017. It’s now 2022 and these still work wonders. The battery has long since died after about 2 years of constant use on the road but the lights still work. I use to keep it under my pop up canopy and just strap my own usb battery and have it run and just unplug from battery when I left camp. Gave a real nice vibe with changing colors or just a nice off white. I just cleaned out my truck another couple years of them sitting in my truck, threw them on the back of the TV and still look great! Lovely lights that last for me

Bought this for my Hennessey Hammock when I go camping and this weekend, I had a chance to really make it work and test it out.It performed perfectly! I bought a 10000 mAh battery bank and a USB switch (on/off) and plugged it all in together - seriously perfect. Just walking up to the hammock, flip the switch and boom, lighting for your entire hammock. Also helped scare off something wandering down the hill near my hammock one night (probably a Lynx or Black Bear). The green light in the photo is another light, but the white light inside is the product showed. Probably work just as well in a tent.Recommended for camping!
