Very well worth every cent. Almost like the professional quality.
I grew up in a family of restaurateurs and tavern owners so I remember the days in the kitchens and the "bar towels", as they were called. Professional weight and durability was the norm. Happily, I can say that these towels brought me back to those old days. They're not as thick as those I recall, but the durability, the absorbency, the lint-free dishes... there's no comparing. And shortly before receiving the towels, I received a message from the seller with washing/care instructions. Nice extra. Personally, I washed them before using (as one would) in boiling water and laundry detergent, allowing them to soak until cool enough to wash thoroughly by hand and the stripes are still vivid and if there was any shrinking, I don't notice it (though I put them on a rack to dry, not in the dryer). All said, perfectly wonderful product. If I need more, I know just where to go. File these under "Recommended".

Great Towels
I'm very happy with these towels. The wash, bleach and dry well. I haven't had any issues with them unraveling or falling apart. They are very absorbent and get the job done, whether drying, or removing excess water from veggies etc.

Super absorbent, great price
What does it say about a product when the VAST majority of reviews are from people who have been PAID for their review? It certainly turned me off when I was debating whether to order these towels. I NEVER believe any review which is from a paid reviewer. But I decided to try them simply because the price was so low and a few of the unpaid reviewers said they were worth the money. I have washed half of them and have tried drying 4-6 glasses and they work great. I knocked off one star simply because, as some other unpaid reviewers have said, they FEEL thinner than one would expect from the large number of glowing, (paid) reviews.Bottom line: In spite of all the PAID reviews, these towels are great and worth more than they cost. I am thinking of giving them as a gift to fellow cooks!

A great deal for busy kitchens
I don’t think I’d heard the expression “tea towel” before but it was used in a few cooking YouTube videos and I found these towels. They’re not the fanciest towels but that’s not needed for a working (as opposed to showcase) kitchen. I like the clean, simple design and every so often I’ll throw a dirty towel or two in a bucket with laundry detergent and a little bleach. They come out great. I bought these six months ago and they’re already a little worn but that’s ok, that’s how you turn a kitchen into a home. :-)

The real thing
I got these for my husband because he's always using my dish towels, instead of a hot pad, to take things out of the oven. So now he won't get in trouble for mucking up my towels. He loved them! These are very nice and low lint. Good for covering up bread dough as it rises or rolling out dough for cinnamon rolls. They're probably good for washing windows too.

On the small side
I purchased these towels because they were less expensive than the different brand I had bought previously. I'm not thrilled with these towels. They seem small, don't absorb as well as my other ones (about the same size), and these towels don't like to lay flat. They're OK. Make a nice looking gift.

great for so many uses
I use these to dry off my vegetables after washing them. Perfect for laying over the bowl when proofing bread. Each color has a specific duty and I love that. Should get another set soon.

I didn't rate "giftable" since it wasn't a gift.
I was surprised that these were as absorbent and durable as they are. I'm very pleased with them.
