Works with the salt rifle. The aim isn't anything to write home about but it's fun and we sit on the patio in the spring/summer when it's really buggy out and just shoot salt everywhere. A weird but fun thing to do and no one gets hurt!

This bag really goes a long way. I bought myself and my daughter each a Bug-A-Salt gun and we have had them for 2years and I refilled them multiple times and still have at least half a bag left. We use them for shooting flies and use them to shoot Waterbugs and spiders and every other type of creepy crawly critters. Although I don't recommend shooting a wasp....unless you are fast and can pump and shoot over and over. It will knock them down...but only temporarily. This bag of salt has really gone a long way and has never slumped and we have high humidity here, so that's saying something. I would recommend and if we ever run low, I will buy again

I don't have a microscope, I don't know if it's really any bigger or more consistent. I do know it kills flies, comes in a two pound bag for less than two pounds of grocery store salt, and the little tube on the corner of the bag is very handy for pouring slowly into the tiny hopper. That's enough reason for me.

I prefer this to table salt and the Skell product. It's seems to be a larger grain and is less likely to clog up your weapon than others ,but it may still clog if left in the chamber overnight exposed to humidity.

Gotta have ammo for my slug gun. This works perfectly for me. Dont have the slugs this year like the last few years, but i still manage to find flys and bees. Happy with pirchase and the price was right.Thank you

I love everything about the "BUG A SALT"! The quality of the assembly, the way all the component parts fit tightly together with no gaps or unevenness between the parts, the solid feel, and the rigidity of the moving plastic parts give the user the confidence that the mechanism will function as expected.MY only criticizim is int he delivery of the product. The order for the BUG A SALT was placed 5 days before Father's Day, and the shipping date was the following Wednesday. The product was shipped 8 days later. The best products can not be enjoyed by the customer if the product remains in the warehouse. John Thompson

I'm using Bug-A-Salt's black fly edition 3.0 as the gun. I don't know whether it's the ammo, or the gun, or something else, but it's annoying that I have find and shoot the fly again after shooting it.But it still somewhat works, so I give it a 3/5.
