DickiesBoys' Long Sleeve Oxford Shirt

My experience with this vendor is overall very good. I think I was in too much of a hurry when I ordered the shirt. I thought I was ordering the Medium (4-5) and the shirt I received is a Medium (10-12). The shirt looks like it is very well made and I might just keep it for when it fits my 3 year old grandson! The vendor gave me authorization to ship it back - but it was so inexpensive it would cost more for me to pack it back up, take time from work and pay for sending it back. I am going to reorder this shirt in the correct size since I am happy with the quality. My advice to you if you want to order is "be very careful when scrolling down for the size you want". Overall, I give the vendor a 9-1/2.

Great quality and true to size

My son is in between sizes. Got him the 14/16 and it fits everywhere but the collar is too snug for him. If anything it looks on the smaller side overall. Also purchased the 18/20 however that is a little baggy but the collar fits perfectly. Still trying to decide what to do as far as making a return or ? My son is 10 years old and in the 80 percentile range for his age in height and weight. He normally wears AM in tshirts (not form fitting). Neck size 16.5 and arm length is about 30.

I ordered this for work, since I needed a plain white collared shirt, I looked on here, since I didn't really want to go shopping for one, and found this, even though it is a boys, I ordered the large size, and it fits me perfect, I am a female, 5'3" and about 110 lbs, it came in original packaging, packaged well, and arrived quickly, and is a very nice shirt. I would recommend it to someone like me that needs it for work, or for anybody else that just wants a nice shirt like this. and also to parents looking for a nice shirt for your child, these are very nice, and you cant beat this price, I searched for a while before getting this one, and since it was dickies I knew it would be made of good material and not cheaply made or cheap looking, which it is not, it looks very nice!

I just bought four more of these for my two boys when they started middle school last month and needed a blue oxford. We had used the white version last year and while these are not wrinkle-free, they are difficult to wrinkle. My boys roll up their sleeves so the sleeves are wrinkled when I unroll them to wash the shirt but even if they leave this on the floor and put it on for a second wear the next day, no wrinkles. And it is easy to clean. Wash and dry; no ironing is needed. The shirt is lightweight enough that my boys can wear it during the hotter days at the end of August and add a T-shirt underneath as the weather turns chillier. I recommend these to all of my sons' friends.

The material is very nice. Very white and just thick enough where an undershirt isn't necessary. Seems very well made. However, the sizing is very small. My child is 9. Granted, a bigger 9 (tends to wear a size 12), but not big enough to wear husky size clothing. I measured him and decided the 14/16 size, according to the Dickies size chart, would be best. He should have had enough room to add an undershirt, and we hoped to have it all year for his orchestra concerts and possibly next year as well. Sadly, the chart is inaccurate. This shirt barely buttons down the front, and the wrists are very tight when buttoned as well. Thanks to the thickness, he won't need an undershirt. He is insisting on keeping it so we will, but it won't last long given it's size. I highly recommend if your child is on the smaller side.

This is a standard oxford shirt that's great for the price. Based on other reviews, I ordered a Large instead of medium for my 9 yr old son. I'm glad I did. This is for a Halloween costume and he wants to roll/cufff the sleeves. They are so slim it makes it a little tough. However, if you don't need to roll up the sleeves, it's fine. The shirt is stiff, my son probably wouldn't want to wear it for long periods of time or without a undershirt.

What can I say? I bought this for my sons middle school band performance. It was delivered quickly, fits, he hates it, and it will never be worn again. By the time he has to wear something nice again he will have grown and need a new one. It looks nice on him though. Tough being a kid and wearing dumb dress shirts b
